This place was the bomb! The service was excellent, food was delicious and the place was very clean. We were provided hand sanitizer before being provided the menus and the server was sanitizing other tables nearby. The portions were generous and the salsas were delectable. The agua de jamaica was absolutely perfect, not too seeet, not too bitter. I will be returning and I would recommend this place.

I went there a few months ago when my job took me to El Monte.
There is a plethora of Mexican joints in this area in general and I finally settled on this one.
They offer a wide variety of dishes and what I ended up getting was the mole because I rarely ever get to have it these days.
It was so-so, nothing spectacular, but what really made the meal, and it made a big difference, was the home made tortillas.
You can tell right away when they’ve been made there rather than by some machine. They look different, they smell differently and most importantly, they taste great.
Mass produced tortillas have a slightly sour scent to them, they are thinner and they have conveyor belt marks on them.
Without the home made tortillas this place would have gotten 3 stars.

My mother and her friends went to this restaurant and ordered 5 tacos, but the owner started complaining about serving them. As a business owner, if your business isn’t doing well, that’s something you need to reassess yourself. It shouldn’t be taken out on your customers. If you’re upset about customers ordering just 5 tacos, it might be time to reconsider your approach and explore other business opportunities.

Delicious food, great taste. Starting with avocado salsa & chips 2nd, I had the chilaquiles rojos with carne asada & scrambled eggs, yummy. Very flavorful The tamarindo water was very fresh, not overly sweet. The red spicy salsa is wowser spicy, but very well made. Te saca mas ambre Service and cook which are the owners are very nice n friendly. Dont believe other reviews. Some people just like to complain….Try it out and be wowed. Good calm atmosphere n the sazon is 100 Try them out n you’ll keep going back. I will..Thank u lorena & husband…
