I really use to love this place. It was my go to for years. But the last handful of times I have gone the service gets worse and worse. The staff that seats you acts almost irritated you are there. Then you get 1 bowl of chips and salsa. The price on the has gone up if you want more. It took a bit longer than expected to have our order taken especially since it was practically empty. The food did come out fast however. Overall I say 4/10. The unfriendly staff really made the past few visits rough. I hope to see improvement in the future.

I do not understand how this place has 4 stars. I don’t understand! Their food portions- fabulous. Lots of food, you could even split the meal and still be full if you’d like. Their food is not tasty. Their “salsa” is in a ketchup looking bottle. Very disgusting. Not fresh at all. I’m sure this place once had good food but it no longer has it. They won’t serve you water unless asked? They have a 1 complimentary refill for sodas. Ridiculous Take your money elsewhere.

Consistently, the food is delicious which is precisely why I have remained a loyal patron for over three decades.

Really disappointed. I saw the 2k+ reviews with a 4 star rating, so I was excited to try Lorena’s. I’m sad that the food was awful. The food was bland, no flavor. It was obvious nothing was fresh. Kind of concerning that their salsa is in a ketchup-like tube, left on the tables all day. So sad.

The hours of operation listed is til 9pm but if you show up anytime after 8:30 they are not nice and often tell us they are closed. At 8:40 we called to order takeout and they said they were closed. Once I showed up at 8:40 and they told me they ran out of food. Don’t get me wrong, I understand individuals time is valuable and they want to warp up their night but why list closing hours then? How about you say “we stop serving at 8:30.” When I was in the service industry we happily served steak and shrimp at 9:00 with a smile. If you walk in anytime after 8 the service is horrible. Once again, to any restaurant out there, if you close at 9 that doesn’t mean your shift ends at 9. Change your business hours to the time you’re willing to serve.

I was excited to get to eat here. My sister-in-law and family raved about it. I was very disappointed. Our server was the rudest! He actually told us to hurry up and order when he seated us, slammed the food down and pushed the check at us. Then he started vacuuming!! It was not closing time….it was 8:15! And my quesadilla was cold and subpar.

Really enjoyed the smothered burritos with rice & beans. My wife and I shared a single entree and it was plenty. The Horchata rice drink was delicious as well. Just had a couple of sips from my brother’s and was tempted to order my own.

Unparalleled gastronomic pleasure! Their Chili Verde is a triumphant culinary masterpiece – succulent pork bathed in a piquant green sauce with the perfect balance of heat and flavor. It’s more than a dish, it’s an ode to Mexican cuisine. Definitely the best around, and one I’ll savor time and again. A must-try for food connoisseurs!

The waitress was HORRIBLE from the start. Once we got our food she NEVER came back to check on if we needed anything. Had to ask 2 other waitresses to get water refills and napkins. We had to get our own boxes for our food.
