Inspired by the culture and cuisine of Lorestan and the Zagros region, we prepare a variety of charcoal-grilled kebabs, homemade stews, and beloved Iranian appetizers using fresh, high-quality ingredients. Our restaurant is FAST CASUAL, not FULL SERVICE. However, we provide comfortable seating with tables for your convenience. After placing your order, you are welcome to sit, relax, and enjoy your meal. It’s not enough to say one of the best, this is The Best Persian kebab in the country.
As an Iranian who is familiar with the premium taste of authentic Persian kebab, I highly recommend trying the Kobideh here. The Mirza Ghasemi , Joojeh and all the other dishes are also excellent and definitely worth trying.
The kitchen is extremely clean, the service is very good, and the chef and staff are friendly and welcoming.
The location is perfect as well, right next to the weekly festivals and downtown.

My husband, son, and I dined here tonight for the first time and everything was delicious. We especially loved the koobideh (beef & lamb) and the joojeh (chicken) kebabs. The Mast & Khiyar (yogurt, cucumber, & mint) was amazing. We enjoyed talking to the owner who was very kind and welcoming. We are excited to have an authentic Persian restaurant in Gainesville and look forward to returning and trying the Fesenjoon and Gormeh Sabzi.

We loved the Koobideh and the Fesenjoon at Lor Kebab. The kebabs were perfectly done and the fesenjoon had an awesome sweet n sour flavor. The special complementary yogurt was yummy too!

The food is all delicious, traditional, and clearly made with love. One of the best kebabs I’ve ever had.
With that being said, I would love to see them address opportunities for improvement around the atmosphere, serving plates and utensils (only plastic), drinks, and consider some type of traditional sauces included with the dishes.

This Persian food was absolutely amazing! Mashallah I can honestly say it’s the best I’ve had across all cities in Florida. The koobideh was very tender and juicy, and reminded me of the ones I’ve had in Iran. The owners are a very nice family and very hospitable people. I would definitely recommend!

This is my first time writing a review for anything. Yesterday I ordered/tried my first ever Persian food and I absolutely loved it!! The rice, the meat, and the salad. Everything is just so good together! Will definitely come back and try different things from this place.

Didn’t even have time to take a picture before we dug in! Really good food! We had be waiting for this place to open, and it is great! Owner is very friendly and the food was very well made. The smell is contagious. Make sure to give them a try!
