If you’re staying at Great Wolf Lodge, this will be your main option for dinner and breakfast, it’s a typical American style buffet with lots of choices for kids even the most picky eaters, including flatbreads, chicken nuggets, Mac n cheese, but also a few items that adults can enjoy such as chicken parm, salmon, salad, roast veggies and soup. The food was not the best quality, not as good as buffets at Disneyland but a better buffet than what you might find at Legoland. If you’re vegetarian/vegan you will still have a few options which is not bad. The dessert selection was just okay and drinks are not included, but considering the price, it’s a decent value.

Special shout out to our server Cristian who was more attentive than we normally get at typical buffets, positive, helpful and we got an extra treat for our daughter’s birthday, making it a very special time.

Also, wanted to recognize Lisa C at the pasta station who was extra helpful and hospitable, and cooked up one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in a long time, you can choose exactly what you want in it so really appreciated.

Compared to numerous other theme park restaurants and buffets we’ve been to, we found this to be one of the better experiences. Most of the time at places like Legoland, or Knotts you never see your server and people don’t seem so happy, but at Loose Moose we appreciated how good the staff are.

Dinner is not as busy as breakfast and I think it’s a better value. If you show up too late for breakfast, expect less attention and possibly a wait for a table. In the past, we used to see the wolf theme characters visit tables, kind of like Disneyland, but that doesn’t happen here which is a little disappointing but that’s not a deal breaker. We would still come back if we’re staying here.

kinda sucks. service is inconsistent and people are constantly being trained but it isn’t the worst aspect by any means. the ambiance is beautiful with a stunning view of the colorado mountains. the food is what tanks the rating.

Quick breakfast before the water park. Saw a lot of the reviews on food not tasting good however ate here anyways. My kids are picky eaters but they had a variety of “picky eater friendly food” options at breakfast. All the usual stuff you find in a breakfast buffet plus chicken nuggets, mac n cheese, tater tots. Our server’s name was Marie. She was amazing with the kids and very attentive to all the guests. She is definitely an asset to this business! My kids ate everything off their plates!

The food was really good. Wasn’t expecting much to be honest but it turned out to have some good options. Even had some green posole and smoked ham for breakfast, plus an omelet station with fresh ingredients to choose from. Great service as well. Don’t get me wrong don’t expect a fancy restaurant but for a buffet inside a Hotel/ Waterpark it’s perfect.

The food was delicious, the service was the best I’ve ever had for a buffet. My child has a dairy allergy and they were very eager to male waffles with soy milk. They went far out of their way to make us happy. The rest of the food was good and it makes it so easy if your staying at the hotel

While obviously not haute cuisine or going to be picking up a Michelin star any time soon, for an all-you-can eat buffet inside of a children’s themed resort, Loose Moose Family Kitchen is actually very decent and, at about $27 per adult (and with kids under 4 years-old eating free), quite reasonably priced. The made-to-order pasta station is a tasty option and most of the buffet items were solid, particularly if you target the ones that were brought out most recently. Haters gonna hate, and a buffet in a theme park is an easy target, but for what this is it deserves 5 stars out of 5. We ate here twice, and I’ll eat here again without hesitation the next time we stay at Great Wolf Lodge.

Worst buffet food I’d ever have my family and I stayed for thanksgiving and we went to have the thanksgiving dinner food was disgusting. On top of that I got food poisoning ruining our 4 day vacation trip. We were celebrating my sons 12 birthday I spent 2 days sick in bed. Totally ruined our weekend plans. We had reservations to stay at universal studios for 2 days. I do not recommend eating there!

Not even sure how to describe the grub. Had the standard eggs bacon sausage pancakes and French toast, but man I’m not sure what they did to the food but it wasn’t very good. I couldn’t even eat the bacon!!! I ended up just eating a bunch of yogurt (which actually was pretty decent with the fresh fruit) some cereal and chocolate milk. And at $20 a person, definitely not worth it.

The worst breakfast buffet we’ve paid money for. Think hotel continental breakfast quality food en masse. It might actually be worse, and they charge way too much. We never eat at Great Wolf when we stay. Sometimes we’ll get donuts, but other than that the food is terrible and crazy expensive. I don’t understand why they won’t improve their food options. Makes no sense. The pizza is also terrible.
