They were definitely understaffed, we were never checked on until everyone was done. Some water glasses were empty and plates just sat there ready to be picked up. I saw him go to other tables but not our. I ordered the shrimp and sirloin, and the steak was so chewy I had to spit a few bites out. The ones I did get down needed big gulps of water. It was also very bland and had no seasoning. The shrimp was definitely overcooked so it was rubbery, it had a bad taste, and honestly seemed like it wasn’t good anymore. I couldn’t eat it. They were out of broccoli which its possible they didn’t get their shipment since the ice storm. But this made the only other “healthier” veggies like mashed potatoes. The other veggie sides like asparagus and Brussel sprouts were an extra $2.
The firecracker chicken wraps were amazing, and so were all my sides and the manager was really nice and comped my meal, which I appreciated. But overall, the experience was nowhere near as good as last year.
You could tell she genuinely enjoys what she does. The people seated around us clearly knew her well, almost like they purposely requested her section, which says a lot about the quality of service she provides. That alone told me she’s someone guests come back for — and I can confidently say I’ll be one of those people.
Cassidy was attentive, thoughtful, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time we were there. That level of care and positive energy is exactly what I need when I go out to eat. She treated us with so much class, and it did not go unnoticed.
Please give her her flowers — she truly deserves it. Because of her excellent service, I’ll definitely be returning to LongHorn Steakhouse again. Thank you, Miss Cassidy, for making our experience such a great one!
My husband ordered the 22oz Porterhouse steak, and it was delicious. It was cooked to perfection, seasoned well, and an excellent cut of meat for the price point.
We also ordered the smokehouse wings that were very good; seasoned well, and crispy skin. I’m a sauce girl, but my husband isn’t, so we really like that they bring the Buffalo sauce and ranch on the side.
Finally, the waitress brought out the chocolate molten lava cake with a “Happy Anniversary” on it for us. It was such a kind and sweet gesture that we really appreciated!
We were seated promptly, food came out correct and fresh, and we received excellent service. Highly recommend this location!
