We had a very nice experience at the LongHorn Steakhouse near the Mall of Louisiana. The atmosphere is casual and definitely old western. The food is good, my sirloin lunch was perfectly cooked and very tender. Our server was friendly and very attentive. A really nice lunch experience.

Ordered curbside online. Food was ready on time & delivered curbside on time.

Firecracker egg rolls-too salty but had potential to taste good if it was crispy & less salt. The avocado crema was good. Not spicy at all.
The spicy chicken bites I did not like either. Too chewy & idk what the yellow sauce is but didnt taste good either.
Mashed potatoes-decent
THE Cheesecake flavors were lovely. The crust fell off easily so it was more cheesecake crumbles. Wish there were more nuts, caramel or drizzle of something. It felt so dry.

Overall, this was a last resort place & it highly disappointed but that’s expected with chain restaurant.

I went for my birthday on Saturday. Food is always great whenever I go. Service this time with the first waitress was horrible, we had to request a new one. Thankful that her superb service made up for the first waitress who seemed rushed & rude. The wait was pretty long but the food made up for it.

We arrived at 3:55. Waited 30 minutes for our table (totally fine). We were served our regular beverages upon arrival and placed our order for apps. It took 45 minutes for us to get our marg and miller lite. Another 30 minutes to get our appetizers. During that time our waitress was pulled outside by the (who I assume was the GM) and fired. (For what I have no idea, she was wonderful, but you could tell the establishment was under staffed, and the GM was out there with her for a solid 35 minutes). Our waitress told us she was being sent home. She delivered our drinks. We finally have another server come over to continue our service. Received apps shortly there after. It took over an hour for us to get food on the table (by then we had been there a total of 2 hours, so we requested our food be boxed up so we could take it home.) Management here is severely LACKING. I have worked in the service industry for many years so this is at NO FAULT OF THE WAITRESS! They were both wonderful and trying their best. The restaurant didn’t have a hostess. The GM was seating people, but constantly left and was no where to be found. My take away from all this is PLEASE BE HONEST with your tables!!! If your short, that is a-okay, but communication is key. Our waitress told us twice that the manager would come and speak with us, never did!! Not once did he look our way. It is your job as a GM to handle staffing, and other issues! If you cannot do that, then don’t serve at full capacity! And why on earth would you send a waitress “home” if you “had 6 call ins and our short”- per our new waitress. Again hats off to the wait staff, they were trying their best and had communicated several times to management that they needed help. Instead they were left drowning!!!! Not fair to them or the tables you are service. Please improve.

Came here tonight and the service and food was amazing! Hostess was welcoming and got us seated right away. Our server, I believe the receipt said her name was Nancy, was on point! She was quick without rushing us and had us fed and out of there within 30 mins! Some of the best service I have ever received – so kind and warm!
We ordered two steaks each with no sides. She brought us extra sour cream and butter to dip our steaks in. Steaks had a nice sear and were cooked just as we like.

Came in on a Sunday. When we arrived, we waited to be seated, but no hostess came for about five minutes. When she finally came, she apologized and explained she was the only one up front and had to clean tables. I at least appreciated her acknowledging that.

Once seated, the tables were clean and everything looked fine. Our server was polite and attentive… no issues there. We ordered and waited for our food. While waiting, the manager (I’m assuming she was manager) came by to check on us and asked if we needed anything. I absolutely did I needed her to turn the football game on. She did, and that small gesture went a long way.

Now for the biggest issue: I ordered my steak medium, but it came out well done. I told the server and showed her, and she agreed it was overcooked. They brought out a second one, and it was closer to medium well/well done. I should’ve asked again to fix it, but my other half had already finished eating, so I didn’t want to drag things out. The sides were good, but the broccoli was a bit cold. My other half also requested no sour cream on her baked potatoes. Yet, it was on there.

With that said (especially if management sees this), the customer service is definitely a strong point. The food quality just needs to match that level.

For anyone considering this place, it’s solid for a quick bite. Just don’t expect 5-star dining and you’ll be fine.

We stopped by for dinner after viewing the Nutcracker, and to start, the host was not the friendliest. We mentioned we had a party of 8, and she stated she would have to get the manager to seat us. I didn’t mind talking to the manager, but we had to talk to three other employees before the manager was finally notified to accommodate us. We were seated together, but we mentioned we didn’t have to sit together to prevent disrupting logistics. The waitress took the beverage order, and later returned to take the food order. The order was a bit delayed, but we received everything except for an order of wings. By the time the wings were delivered to the table, we were all done eating. The manager did come and remove the wings from the order, which we did thank him for as he did not have to do it. Other than that, the food was okay. There were several items they were not offered during our visit, so that limited the selection of food we had to choose from. I would recommend more training for the staff because communication is key, and it was lacked during our visit.
