Let’s start with the broccoli. It was barely introduced to heat. Cold, crunchy, and essentially raw. I took one bite and stopped because… who orders steakhouse broccoli hoping for a side of salad-grade trees?
The sweet potato, however, was the MVP of the plate. Warm, soft, comforting — honestly, thank God it showed up because it was the only thing that felt like it wanted to be eaten. Both stars for the sweet potato.
My filet was cooked perfectly, which made what came next even more tragic. It was absolutely smothered in what I can only describe as Satan’s personal pepper blend. So much black pepper that I coughed while eating it. I had my son try it to make sure I wasn’t being dramatic — he confirmed his ribeye had the same seasoning assault. It was borderline inedible unless you’re training for a ghost pepper competition.
Our dinner guest ordered a salad with salmon, which arrived looking nearly white and so overcooked she barely touched it.
As we sat there, two gentlemen walked up to the hostess stand to pay their bill because their waiter never came back — same waiter we had. Our service was very slow, but honestly I could see he had a massive section and seemed to be doing the best he could. The table next to us even sent food back (we overheard the apologies), so clearly the kitchen was having a rough night.
All in all, this was one of the worst meals I’ve had in a long time.
Great sweet potato.
Perfectly cooked steak… ruined by a pepper apocalypse.
Cold rawish broccoli.
Overcooked salmon.
Slow service.
I really wanted this to be a great LongHorn experience — instead it was more of a cautionary tale.
I am pretty sure I paid for an 8oz Sirlion but only got a 6oz. The server said he checked he put it in right but still not sure it was right.
Judah, our server was amazing! He was super sweet and he kept our drinks full.
The food was mediocre at best that evening. However, the service was by far the most concerning part of our visit. Our party of five was seated promptly, yet two tables that arrived after us were greeted, had their drink orders taken, and even placed their food orders before our server ever came to our table. While I understand that everyone can have an off night, this level of delay was unacceptable.
Additionally, the table we were seated at wobbled so badly that we had to place napkins underneath it to prevent our drinks from spilling, once we were finally able to order them. Our server checked on us TWICE throughout the entire evening, while we observed her regularly attending to her other tables. We felt forced to interrupt other servers to request drink refills because ours was consistently absent.
Our appetizers took approximately 40 minutes to arrive and were not hot when served. Our entrées followed just 10 minutes later, which further suggests a lack of attention to pacing and service. Throughout the entire experience, no manager stopped by our table to check on us.
This was meant to be a special birthday celebration, and instead it turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience. Based on this visit, the Cleveland location has significant room for improvement in both service and management oversight. It is unfortunately clear why many people choose to dine in Chattanooga rather than in our hometown.
I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve the level of service provided at this location.
1st steak came out overcooked. Staff happily brought out 2nd steak while my wife was eating a perfect 8 oz med-rare 2″ thick serloin steak.
Salad and baked potato was excellent.
Staff compensated us graciously.
I’m always suspicious of over seasoned meats…
