We met up with friend for dinner at this location. The host had us wait for the rest of the party to be seated. A different host came and got us and sat us before my friends arrived. The place was not full. Our server Tara was great. We took our time to order since we were catching up. She was very patient with us. We finally ordered and she was very helpful and recommended a few dishes. My margarita was delicious. My steak and shrimp were delicious too. I can’t complain. We stayed talking for a while after paying our bill and nobody bothered us. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Everything was disjointed including the service:
Drink arrived
Salad arrived before bread
Then the bill? What’s that about!!
Then the main course,
Then the bill was taken but I hadn’t paid yet as was still eating, so returned
Then the dessert ordered,
New bill arrived nearly 10 mins before the dessert
NEVER have I experienced this in ANY restaurant let alone a Longhorn
I approached manager whilst waiting for dessert, to feel like it was a my problem
EVERYTHING FELT RUSHED,
WILL NOT BE GOING HERE AGAIN!

This LongHorn hits every time. I’ve been coming here for years, and even after moving away from Sanford, we always stop by when we’re in town—even though we live two hours away. The steak was cooked to perfection, the Brussels sprouts were delicious, the mashed potatoes are always on point, and the Parmesan crust seals the deal every single time.

We met a visiting relative for a Birthday were 4 of us and we all ordered steak dinners, none of which were cooked properly. My wife orders her steak medium/medium well, that means it has a warm pink center, it arrived rare. When she sent it back they returned it very well done. I always order my steaks blue or very, very rare. That means a cold red center. Basically my steaks are quickly seared on each side and raw in the middle and I warn the wait staff that it is very easy to overcook but virtually impossible to undercooked. My steak arrived cooked with a pink center, basically medium. Due to a past experiance I never return food anywhere so I did eat it. Our visiting relatives order the same steaks with different sides but different temperatures, one rare (warm red center) one medium (hot pink center). Evidently the preparer reversed the steak placement with the side dished because they got each others steak. They switched the steaks at the table without assistance from the wait staff. Wait staff were very inattentive, having to be flagged down to fet any type of service. Drinks were never refilled unless a request was made. All in all it was not a pleasant dining experianceand we will not be returning to this location. As for the atmosphere, it is just like all the rest in the chain. Nothing stands out except the lack of attention to customer preferences.

Everything was great, except the waiter kept carrying on conversations with my girl, and told me she can order what she wants listen to your girl, I was just reinforcing by saying its okay to order rn. No big deal, could management please mention in a team meeting or something that you guys are on the clock and here to work, just please keep it professional, idc if ppl talk to her, but not every table visit should be a conversation. 3 conversations are acceptable, when sat down, when were done eating or almost done, and a couple minutes before they head out. Of course It’s acceptable and expected for waitresses to conversate.

I had an excellent dining experience at LongHorn Steakhouse in Sanford, and I want to personally recognize our server, Kaitlyn. From start to finish, she was patient, attentive, and warm—her service truly made us feel like family. The food was outstanding: the steak was perfectly tender, the baked potato was spot on, and every bite was delicious. I dine out at least three times a week, and this visit stands out as one of the best I’ve had in a very long time. Kaitlyn’s customer service was so exceptional that we made sure to share our praise with the manager. She is a true asset to LongHorn, and I will definitely return because of the experience she provided

We came to LongHorn Steakhouse with a party of 13 on short notice, and they were incredibly accommodating. The food and appetizers were excellent, but what truly stood out was the kindness of the staff. After learning that our family had just attended a wake, they gave us a handwritten card signed by the entire team. That small, thoughtful gesture meant so much to us. We genuinely appreciated the humanity, compassion, and care shown by everyone there.

We started with the Wild West Shrimp appetizer — perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. For the main course, I had the Renegade Sirloin while my partner ordered the Flo’s Filet, and both were absolutely delicious. Cooked exactly to order, juicy, tender, and full of flavor.
The sides were just as impressive — the mashed potatoes were creamy and flavorful, and the seasoned broccoli had the perfect crunch. We finished with the Chocolate Stampede, and let’s just say, if you’re a dessert lover, don’t skip it!
