Reviews
The shrimp & lobster soup was rich and delicious, full of flavor, and the side salad was fresh and crisp. Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming.
Definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re looking for a satisfying, high-quality meal. We’ll be back!
We decided to come in spur of the moment, I was craving the Lemon Garlic Chicken! My Fiancée had the Flo’s Filet, and we shared their version of a blooming onion and our waitress recommended the special fresh strawberry pecan salad and it did not disappoint! That salad was so perfectly balanced. We waited 30 min for a table and a good while for the food but our Server Layla was EXCELLENT! She was so sweet, shared recommendations and kept us updated on the food ! Our drinks stayed full and even though the food took some time she still checked in to see how we were doing! It was her first day serving and we were blown away, she was Awesome!
The waitress wasn’t friendly or personable at all—no smile, no effort to make us feel welcome. On top of that, we waited well over an hour after being seated just to get our food. When it finally came, my Flo’s Filet was completely overcooked, even though I asked for medium well. I kept hoping it would get better in the middle, but it was dry all the way through. When I brought it up, the waitress laughed and said she’d talk to her manager, but nothing ever happened.
Overall, we waited forever for bad food and even worse service. It was supposed to be a special night for my daughter, and instead it was just frustrating and disappointing. We won’t be coming back.
– We were told the wait for a table would be 10-15 mins and it was over 30 mins (we would have gone somewhere else if we knew it would be 30 mins)
– When we were finally sat (8:17), it was ANOTHER 15-20 MINS before anyone even acknowledged us! There were 3 different waitresses and the host walking by the whole time bussing tables and bringing checks completely ignoring a 4 top with no waters or anything – we had to finally wave someone down!
– The waitress forgot her pad to write orders and had to go get it, mixed up the sprites and waters, forgot 2 out of 4 straws and had to come back with them, STACKED ALL THE DIRTY DISHES ABOVE MY HEAD ON THE BENCH TOP, and took another 20 mins to bring check. Really really bad service.
– Whole restaurant smells terrible..like something being covered up with too much cleaning solution
– The shrimp were extremely overcooked and chewy, all the salads had so much dressing they were mostly inedible, overall an awful meal, even the people who like Longhorn elsewhere were appalled.
YUCK
To make the meal edible, I had to finish cooking both steaks myself at home, which completely defeated the purpose of ordering takeout. On top of that, I ended up with dishes to clean—something I was trying to avoid by picking up food in the first place.
Additionally, the sweet potato was missing the cinnamon/sugar butter that was listed on the menu, which was disappointing. The overall meal wasn’t served at a proper temperature, which made it difficult to enjoy, especially since I had planned for a convenient and comforting send-off before traveling
Ending on a good note, our waitress was excellent and the food was excellent as usual.
I noticed that our team tried the bread and left the rest on the table. No bread repeats, reason why I gave them a four instead of five stars. Food is a little bit pricey. $$$
Very nice place to celebrate a birthday and more. Welcome Longhorn Steakhouse to Orange City… (Rater has 53 years experience in food service.)
