If your not in a rush, the atmosphere is great, but the service was extremely slow at 2pm on a Friday and not very busy. We waited 25 minutes for the order of a burger, side salad, strawberry salad and onion soup, plus another 20 minutes just to get the bill, and your water was never filled.

Amazing service and absolutely delicious food!
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The whole experience is like enjoying a comforting, home-cooked meal while still getting the special touch of dining out. Portions are decent, but the prices are on the higher side. It would be great if they offered smaller portion sizes at a reduced cost for those who don’t need a full-sized plate.

This LongHorn is a great choice, from the time we entered to the time we left. Our host seated us promptly. The food was delicious, our group of six was very pleased with our selections and the price of our meal. Our server Meredith was very experienced, got our orders perfect, and was very attentive to our drink refills. She anticipated our needs before we asked and was detailed oriented. She made our dining experience exceptional. The birthday sundae was appreciated.

Had an excellent meal at this location today! The Wild West Shrimp app was way, way too much for two of us! They were out of stuffed mushrooms which was a letdown. I had Flo’s filet, bf had salmon & shrimp. The Brussel sprouts were not to my liking, Stacy had no problem exchanging for asparagus though. I want to add their tea is excellent! Many places water the tea down which really perturbs me! We finished with strawberry shortcake which was just great & perfect portion. Stacy gave us excellent service & the music was cool. It was a great lunch experience!!

Longhorn Steakhouse is me and my wife’s favorite place to eat for both lunch and dinner. We dine here 3 to 4 times a month. The food is delicious and your lunch menu is an excellent value! Today, we were the first guests to be seated for lunch. Byron, your host seated us and was his usual friendly, accommodating self. The music was very loud! Our lunch was delicious but the French onion soup was only warm. I sent it back, asking it to be brought up to the proper temperature. When the server returned, I was in shock when she placed in front of me! As you can see in the picture, there was broth all over the saucer. It was so unappetizing! There was immense steam coming from the bowl. The cook most likely put it in the microwave and obviously microwaved it way too long! Unfortunately, the cook didn’t give me a new soup. The cook should have heated a fresh soup separately, then finish preparing it a bowl with the crouton and cheese properly. How disappointing! I’m surprised when an item is sent back at Longhorn a manager doesn’t check with the customer to ensure the customer is satisfied???

My 89-year-old blind dad, in a wheelchair, my anxious mom, my husband, and I went tonight to celebrate my parents’ 67th wedding anniversary. What should have been a special and meaningful evening turned into a stressful and upsetting experience because of how we were treated by the hostess and managers.
From the moment we arrived, the attitude was cold and dismissive. There was no patience, no understanding, and certainly no compassion for an elderly blind man and a family simply trying to celebrate a milestone anniversary. Instead of feeling welcomed, we felt like an inconvenience.
When you’re bringing in an elderly parent — especially someone who is blind — you hope for basic kindness and professionalism. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. The lack of empathy shown by management was beyond rude and completely unacceptable. That hostess said to me “do you know how many people are blind and 89 and in wheelchairs there are” needs to be fired.
A 67th anniversary is rare and precious. This restaurant helped turn what should have been a joyful celebration into a night we would rather forget.
We will not be returning.

Even if we live in an area and have tried a certain restaurant chain will find another in order to see if the quality of the food and service is the same, well this Longhorn meets all the others in every area. First, it is a bit of a challenge to get into the parking lot and place off the highway. Once in parking was a bit of a challenge as was finding the entrance… after that, everything was 5 ⭐. Though busy we were seated right away and our server was Evan S who really likes what he does and it shows with his great people skills and service. Ordered drinks and dinner all at once as we knew in advance what we wanted. Salads are plentiful with just the right amount of dressing 5 ⭐. No sooner did we start the salad than the soup came…whoo, slow down. Tasted both and they were cool not hot so we sent them back to be heated. At first we both thought that this was a bad sign. Soups came back nice and hot Onion soup and the cup of Chowder were both perfect so 5 ⭐ so we continued to enjoy BUT steaks came out… folks please slow down!!! Sent them back till we finished our soup. We were slightly worried about the steaks being held but when requested to be served were hot and perfect. I had the 6oz with Shrimp and stuffed baked a perfect 5 ⭐. Bill had his typical 20 oz rare bone in Rib Eye with Sweet potato which was again tender and perfect 5 big ⭐. No room for dessert but the manager stopped by, always a great touch, and checked out how our meal was. Mention the soup issue he assured us it would be addressed and asked us to return with a free appetizer or dessert coupon. Again, we enjoyed and will return to this location again.

This location (store 5200) ran by manager Clint is hands down the best one in Jax. Consistently providing the best service and freshest food. Whether we come for lunch or dinner, weekdays or weekends, my family and I always leave happy and full. On Thursday night our waiter was Spencer and I must say he was attentive, warm, funny and so on point. For someone new to the service industry he sure is good at it!! Keep up the good work, Clint!!

Now I LOVE some Longhorn! But this one was sooooo disgusting!!! The menus were so dirty and stinky! And the bathroom (women) DIRTY!!!! When I saw those things I was ready to go, but it was late and my husband and kids were hungry, so I said maybe the food would be better, NOT!!! Steak not seasoned well, and the baked potato tasted like it had been sitting overnight. I asked for another one, but no different. I spoke to the waitress and she did her best, but no management came to the table to discuss my concerns, so I left UNHAPPY! I Will NOT go to this Longhorn ever! PLEASE CLEAN YOUR MENUS AND WOMEN BATHROOM, thank you for nothing. ♀️
