Due to it being Valentine’s my other half and I decided to order in and use my birthday gift cards for Longhorns and bring it back home for a stay in date. First off I sat outside waiting for my curbside order for 30 minutes. I got home after a 30 minute drive and my steak was the wrong steak. I ordered an 8oz New York Strip but received a 6oz Filet. I never have liked a filet, to thick and harder for me to chew than the strip. Plus I just prefer it over a filet. I called the restaurant, asked for a manager, told them what happened; they replied oh our 8 oz strip is round too and looks like a filet and they aren’t as tender as either. I don’t care if it has gold in it, I don’t like a filet. So they offered to send a digital gift card to replace it. Never offered to remake it since it and me come pick it up. I tried to eat the filet but it was completely raw and as you see in my hand is over half the steak. I barely had scraps left. The shrimp got cold while dealing with this and got rubbery, the potato wasn’t fully cooked either. Then my other half got one bite of his burger and it was very over well done and falling apart. Long Horns you owe me my 75$ gift card back in full. This is ridiculous

Update: Corporate reached out via email, said they reached out to the restaurant manager and they were told to send me a gift card to reimburse my money. The restaurant manager sent a 50$ gift card; I spent 75$. I replied back to the corporate email addressing the lack of response from restaurant and that was over a week ago and still no response. This has absolutely been the worst experience I’ve ever had with a restaurant.

Just left here after terrible service. No one at the hostess station when we walked in. The girl who finally showed up barely acknowledged us, then mumbled something unintelligible with no eye contact, no smile, nothing. It’s a Monday night, plenty of empty booths. She started to seat our party of three at a center table, and when we asked for a booth (she never asked our preference, btw), she made it obvious that she was annoyed by this very reasonable request. No one came over to greet us at our table or ask what our drink orders were. The expectation was merely basic service, we weren’t expecting red carpet or anything even close to it. After waiting several minutes with servers passing us by like we were invisible, we finally got up and left. A now different girl at the hostess station didn’t even notice we were leaving. I asked if they were short staffed. She just looked annoyed and shrugged. Verdict: WE WILL NOT BE BACK. Longhorn, you need to do better.

Horrible experience. Waited 40 minutes and asked server how long she thought the food would be out in she said another 15-20 min. Communication is Key. I understand it was a busy sunday night but train servers how to communicate with tables especially if going to be waiting an hour for food with children. Would not recommend.

Their online ordering system SUCKS. I like to pre-order my food on Sundays & I am a hugeee Longhorn fan but this location has been taking my money online then requesting me to come inside to pay for food that is already paid for. They’ve tried to charge my card without permission prior to me checking in for online ordering & on another occasion they didnt fulfill my order at the selected time & i had to wait 3 hrs later for my food. Not only that, when i received it, i ordered chopped steak & it was RAW meat, i didnt even try to make a complaint because i had made it all the way home by the time i cut into the food to see the pinkness. I’m still a Longhorn fan because i know all locations aren’t like this but I def will be ordering from another location outside of Kennesaw because they’ve just put a bad taste in my mouth about them.

Greeted by host named William as long as we walked in…get was extremely professional and asked if we preferred booth or table which usually does not happen! Once seated, Trevor was our server….he was very professional as well! He was very attentive…he kept our drinks filled and kept a check on us which is a must for me! Great service, great staff, great food as always! Steaks were cooked perfect with all sides being amazing! Both William and Trevor deserve recognition for their outstanding service and dedication to Longhorn to ensure that customers are satisfied with their experience at this location!

It was my birthday today. I turned 21. I was excited to finally purchase my first drink, and plus I love Longhorn. We were seated at a high table by the bar because they were the only seats available in the whole restaurant at the time. Our server was a bartender, her name was Gwen. DO NOT GET SERVED BY HER. She was very nasty and ignorant. Gwen was whispering when taking our orders and when I say whispering, that’s literally what I mean. She yelled at my friend on multiple of occasions because she couldn’t hear what she was saying. Gwen, speak up! We told the manager but let’s be real she didn’t care. The manager said and I quote “Really? She’s been a partner for 15 years!” You can tell nothing was going to be done. Do not go to this Longhorn location and if you decide to DO NOT GET SERVED BY GWEN. (she can’t make drinks either, my margarita tasted straight like juice)

I typically eat here at lunch every two weeks where I meet up with a friend. The food is always consistently good and something I look forward to. My wife loves the salmon. Be sure to ask that it just “kiss“ the grill.

Ask for Missy as your server if you can, she is awesome and will make sure that your food is made exactly as you want. The other servers are fine, but we are spoiled by Missy.

The only time we run into any kind of issue is when they are servicing a larger group which always strains the kitchen’s ability to keep up and can raise the noise level to where it can become challenging to talk comfortably. This does not happen often, but if they try to seat you next to a bunch of tables that have obviously been put together for a large party, you may want to ask them to relocate you to another part of the restaurant if this can bother you.

They tend to be pretty busy on Wednesdays when I visit from noon until 1 PM (surprise, surprise) but the crowd absolutely dies off after about 1:30. So if a quiet and relatively solitary dining experience is your desire, come after 2:00 in the afternoon 🙂

I love their Flo’s filet steak and they do a surprisingly great job with their chicken dishes as well. Their seasoned fries are usually exceptional so it’s often a tossup between those and the baked potato.
