I ordered Med well not burnt well done.
Give me a break, if I wasnt so hungry I wouldve sent that garbage back.
My wifes filet was the same exact way.
Today will be the last time I eat there, this is not a random occurence.
You need a kitchen mgr who knows how to run a kitchen.
Do better!!!
Mine was rare. Enough said.
I’ll definitely be back again, 4 friends won’t.
We had such a wonderful experience at LongHorn Steakhouse! I’m here celebrating with my track star — pro champion POETRY ANDERSON of Eastern Regional — who just earned a medal as her school placed fourth overall. She competed in the hurdles, the 4×4, and the 55m dash, so this meal was well deserved!
Poetry ordered the crusted chicken with mashed potatoes and absolutely enjoyed it. I ordered the filet with sweet potatoes and broccoli (two orders — because she’s here celebrating with the best parents in the world, her mom and dad!). Everything was fresh, hot, and satisfying.
The Caesar salad was very good, and the bread was perfect — soft and fluffy on the inside with a nice crust on the outside. The butter was a little firm at first, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. The mashed potatoes were rich and buttery — just how I like them.
I will say my steak came out more well done than the medium I requested — I definitely had to put my biceps and triceps to work cutting it — but the flavor and the crisp on the outside were still enjoyable. What really stood out was the excellent customer service. The staff was attentive, kept the table clean, and even took 50% off the steak for the extra effort, which I truly appreciated.
And I absolutely must highlight our server, Kevin. He was pleasant, polite, uplifting, and very intentional with his service. He asked great questions, stayed attentive, and you can truly tell he loves his job. That kind of energy is rare and makes a huge difference in the dining experience.
LongHorn — give this man a raise immediately! Kevin is management material and could honestly be teaching customer service skills across the entire branch. He is working for every penny and then some.
Overall, this was the best customer service I’ve experienced in a while. We left full, happy, and proud of our champion. We will definitely be back! ♀️✨
The service though is where tonight’s dinner shined. Kathleen C. was our server tonight and she is by far the most thoughtful server I’ve encountered in a long while- and me and my husband eat out frequently. She made sure all the details were taken care of (butter, ranch for the salad, extra spoon to sweeten my ice tea with sweet n low, lemon, dipping sauces) you name it. I never had to ask for anything because she had already thought of it. She even asked what take home container I thought would work best me since they had several kinds. She smiled when she spoke to you. So polite, professional and thoughtful! Fantastic service- made my ordinary Tuesday night into something really enjoyable . Thank you!
I used the online wait list to hopefully bypass the wait time (showed 18 minutes) but once my family & I arrived at the location, we still had to wait 15-20 minutes. However the online thingie was supposed to work, for some reason did not. But it wasn’t a deal breaker and in the end, the wait was totally worth it. I was taken aback at how quiet the place was considering they were at full capacity; the music was still enjoyable and everyone spoke softly and peacefully. Once seated, our server Grace was as charismatic, patient and friendly as can be. Once our orders were in, everything came in a timely manner for the amount of patrons at the restaurant; drinks, bread, apps, entrees, was all as perfect as you could imagine. 8 oz. Flo’s Filet I ordered was mouth watering the entire meal, along with the mac & cheese and the broccoli sides. Never got the managers name but he did make his rounds, making sure everything was tidy and straight, and of course he made sure we were satisfied. The night was as pleasant as anyone could hope for on a night out; so good, in fact, two days later, I returned to this Longhorn’s with two co-workers after a range day to indulge ourselves with some burgers for lunch after a fun mernin’ partaking in the expenditure of ammunition. Joe was serving us as well as bartending, but he kept up with all of his tasks with ease and confidence. Try their lemonades. Damn tasty, they are. And of course, I had to say hello to Grace once she was in for her shift and thank her again for a terrific evening. I’ll definitely be back without a doubt.
Curiously, why is it called Longhorn when clearly, there’s more than one?
The staff was friendly. They timed our courses well. The food was cooked the way we ordered it and had a good flavor. They are generous with their portions. They offer lunch specials during the week. We will definitely eat there again. The Restaurant is on a major East/West road and is close to the Garden State Parkway. There is a Hilton Hotel next door so on Weekends in the Summer it can get crowded. So it is better to make reservations. We went midweek about a 1/2 hour to 45 minutes after they opened and it was not crowded. It was getting busy by the time we left.
