Me and my sister went to longhorn for the first time yesterday. The experience was great. Our server was fantastic and very attentive. The food came out quick even though it was a Saturday evening and the place was very busy. And the quality of the food was excellent. More specifically, the mac and cheese is the best I had from any food chain, the NY strip steak was cooked well, and so were the Brussel sprouts. Also, the spicy chicken bites as an appetizer were perfect, definitely a must try.
Suggestion: if you can, try to put yourself on the waiting list prior to arriving because we did have to wait an hour (though it was worth the wait) ,but there are plenty of stores around to keep you busy while you wait.

I have been to this location many times. I always order the steak tips with mushrooms and onions. I was there recently and the steak tips were so tender and delicious. They are normally pretty good hence why I ordered them fairly regularly however I don’t know if they have a new cook or something that was going on, but they were fantastic. I also had a side of brussels sprouts as well as a sweet potato. Absolutely delicious. I wish I could remember our waitresses name. She was absolutely hysterical so funny super nice. The location has dim lighting, assuming for slightly maybe romantic type vibe. I also ordered the raspberry lemonade for the first time. It was absolutely the best raspberry lemonade I’ve ever had.

Amy was great! The food was great!! We had to 4 sets of flatware because everything was rolled up still dirty. We thought our seltzer water was in a frothy class, it was just plain old not clean. Let’s Go Longhorn…get better dishwasher detergent or a better dishwasher!

The food was very good, and the prices were reasonable for a steakhouse. The steak was cooked well and portions were solid.
However, they don’t take reservations, and every time I’ve gone the wait has been an hour or more, which is frustrating. On top of that, the atmosphere was extremely loud, with kids screaming, babies crying, and customers yelling.
As someone with PTSD and social anxiety, this was overwhelming and not a place I would return to. If you don’t mind long waits and a noisy environment, you may enjoy it.

Steak & all sides cooked to perfection. Nice chill, clean atmosphere. Our server was incredible, she was so personable. It felt like we were welcomed into an old friend’s home who was ready to joke & catch up. What a great visit, good vibes all around. Recommend this location- ask for Evi, you won’t be disappointed!!

I don’t typically write reviews but had to acknowledge the amazing customer service I witnessed when dining at Longhorne tonight. We sat in the bar area and watched Kyle at a very busy register where people not only pick up their orders, but also where tons of take out orders are printed out. He is the friendliest, hardest worker Ive ever seen. Greeting pickup customers with a genuine smile and happy to see them. Very professional and accommodating. Super busy and handling everything with such ease. You never see this anywhere today. I almost want to open a restaurant just to hire him! I hope the manager sees this as Kyle deserves to be recognized for his incredible customer service, great personality and hard work.

I visited LongHorn and ordered a burger with only cheese, bacon, grilled onions, and mushrooms. When it came out, it had everything on it — lettuce, tomato, raw onions — all things I specifically didn’t want. I’m a very picky eater, so I asked politely for a new burger.

Before telling the waiter, I had already cut the burger in half, and I took the fries off the plate to eat while waiting for the remake. Well… I didn’t even end up waiting, because they brought me back the exact same burger, just with the bun switched out and the toppings I didn’t want scraped off. You could clearly see the patty was from the first burger because it was still cut in half.

Not only is that unprofessional, but if someone had a food allergy, this could have gone very wrong. I ended up only taking a few bites and didn’t finish it, knowing it had already touched condiments I don’t eat.

I’m not the type to make a scene in person, so I didn’t complain further, but I do want others to be aware: if you send food back, make sure they’re actually remaking it and not just removing toppings. Very disappointing experience.

5 out of 5! Food was amazing, the waiter we had was Awesome! We enjoyed it very much! My wife wasn’t too hungry so she had a burger and fries, and I had New York Strip medium with baked potato and lobster tail. Enjoyed every single bite. Highly recommend, also price was very reasonable

I haven’t been to that location in quite a while and unfortunately it wasn’t the greatest. I’ve been in the food service business for over four decades. Even though we did go New Year’s Eve day for a late lunch, I did expect a few hiccups. Unfortunately the hiccups never stopped. Service was so so and also the food wasn’t the greatest this time. They were quite busy and unfortunately they did not have enough staff to rectify certain issues in the dining room. For example, the one and only bartender was also waiting on tables and unfortunately we were stuck with that person doing so. He had his hands full and I don’t believe that was his problem but Management. My wife ordered a burger with fries. The fries were so oversalted she couldn’t eat them. And her hamburger was also undesirable. I had the filet mignon which was decent but unfortunately because of the service it was very difficult to get a hold of somebody to bring this problem of my wife’s meal to someone’s attention. I had to get up and speak to the manager and after explaining the situation at hand, he was very apologetic and he did comp us the meal that my wife could not eat. I do know and understand the food service business but they should have been a little bit more on top of it because of the holiday. It’ll be sometime before we go back again. Especially around the holiday season.

My father and I went there for is ninety first birthday. First I want to say everybody that we talked was very nice. I was very impressed with my server. Her name is Thayna. She was very, very attentive to my father. If I rated the restaurant strictly on the ambiance or my server (Thayna).I would give it a 5 of 5 stars. The problem came with my food.My dad’s food was done perfectly .. Top sirloin, nice and thick looked exactly. The way he likes it medium-rare.
He was happy… My food was the exact opposite.I ordered my medium rare to rare… If I can post the picture i’m going to.It was burnt and it looked like well… An overcooked piece of liver. Very hard to chew.
I’m gonna try to post the picture, so you can see it.. I did not want to send it back for 2 reasons..
The first reason was when you send something back, it’s an embarrassment. At least I feel it is second and more importantly… My dad just got his steak at the same time. His steak would have gotten cold waning from my steak to come out.And then the whole meal would have been bad…
And i’m sure whoever reads us can understand that. And it would have made a very bad impression on the whole evening…We ordered an appetizer.. the stuffed mushrooms. They were very good. I really enjoy those
And again, my dad enjoyed his steak tremendously. I want to thank the staff there. They are really nice. To be honest, I’m 65. My dad again is 91. My dad is the United States air force Korean war veteran
And I am a u s air force veteran as well. I don’t know how many more birthdays we’re gonna have to celebrate together. And I thought this would have been a great place.
For a special meal… I am very torn with this review because I don’t want to sound ungrateful. We loved our server…However… She wasn’t the one who sent out the steak. It was a male..My steak again….was, well, I’m gonna leave it at that …enough said, and I guess I’m a little upset as well. That no one read this review from their management and sent a response. I did just change it a little bit after a little thought. . I do want everybody to know.I have never been to this restaurant before. And we chose this for a very special night…. Again, I’m very torn about this review because we loved our waitress. That much, but the food
Really hurt this review… And not having a response as well.. There is one other thing I would like to let everybody know. My dad lives in living assisted facility in West Hartford, where many many senior citizens live. Many of them knew my dad was being taken out to dinner. That night. I just don’t know what kind of response I can give them as far as the food… I just spoke with the assistant manager Gretchen, you could not ask for a nicer person ever great sense of humor and a personality second to none, and she really cared and I gotta tell you in this day and age, when everybody’s just a number she made me feel like I was important in same with my father. She took care of us which is not what we were looking for but she wanted to make sure that she took care of what happened. And you can’t ask for anything better than that. I’d recommend that place to anybody who wants great service. A great time with great people. Thank you, Gretchen. Again for all you just did it meant a lot to meAnd my dad
