I went to El Pollo Loco to try to find something tasty at a reasonable price . On the app they had a killer deal . You get a huge burrito , chips, large drink, churro, and enough salsa to consider it a beverage by itself. I was impressed with the price, surprised at how Stellar the customer service was, and delighted with the final result. My burrito was roasted to perfection. The avocado salsa is phenomenal. I just feel like I got a great deal and I have more food than I can even eat. Thanks for being awesome, El Pollo Loco!

Tonight was redemption.
There street tacos were delicious and the service was excellent.
We used a coupon to try their new street tacos plate. Two tacos with rice and beans. We got the Elote Taco and the Avocado taco. They were bomb! The rice and beans were a tasty side dish, after we doctored them with cilantro, lime, and salsa.
Originally the rice was a skimpy amount (See picture) and as I was finishing at the salsa bar the young lady at the counter gave me an additional cup of rice. She identified the short coming and took the initiative to correct it. Great Job!
There were several employees on shift (11) the facilities were as clean as to be expected.
Negative:
There was a dried piece of chicken under out table that appeared to have been there for some time though.

Love the new pollo fit bowl served with savory cauliflower rice, yum! One of the only places I know where you can sub for meatless option without up charge. I also like that they use a variety of lettuces for salad and give you a creamy cilantro dressing or vinaigrette option. You have to remember to ask for any additional salsas thou otherwise you get none, one, or have to drive back. I did download their app and seem to provide a great selection of coupons, a free chips and guac, and a nice rewards system. I can always count on Pollo Loco for fit options, as long as I skip the chips and dips.

I stopped by the El Pollo Loco drive-thru today a little before 4 PM. My visit was super quick—about three minutes. When I pulled up to order, I heard “Go ahead,” but there were other voices in the background, so I wasn’t sure the employee was talking to me. I said, “I didn’t catch that—could you say that again?” hoping for a normal greeting like, “Hi, welcome to El Pollo Loco. What can I get started for you?” Instead, I got, “Go ahead with your order.”
That greeting felt short and unfriendly. A simple, friendly welcome goes a long way, and I didn’t get that here. I decided to leave without ordering. I like El Pollo Loco’s food, but I’ll go to locations that feel more welcoming. If “Go ahead” is the usual greeting, the standards here have really slipped to low levels. Unlikely to patron this El Pollo Loco, customer service at least with this visit left a lot to be desired.

Went there at 4pm after work & was given a paper of coupons & got a meal for 2 & wow that chicken 2 legs & 2 thighs was the greatest ever. Ate it Friday & the rest today. I will be going back again this week. It was fantastic.

I ordered a double chicken tostada salad at the drive thru on 8/13/2023. I found a short black hair strand in my food. If that wasn’t bad enough on my way out I saw a live cockroach fall from the ceiling to the floor. That should’ve been a sign that this El Pollo Loco location is unsanitary. I think it’s funny how someone left a review about two months ago speaking positively about the condition of this place. In my experience that is far from the truth. Makes me wonder what else is not up to code at this restaurant chain. Seems like they don’t care about taking precautions when handling customer’s food. I feel sick just thinking about it. I don’t trust this place and don’t recommend it at all. This is my first and last time ever ordering food from here.

Everytime you ask for “no onion. No rice.” Or any adjustment it never happens when they make your food. Or its only partially done. The order taker put easy rice instead, and the food preparer made the bowl mainly rice!? Every time.
