We recently visited Longhorn during Restaurant Week and had a great experience. The new Dirty Sodas were a fun treat, but what really stood out was the service. Our server took incredible care of us from start to finish and made the whole visit feel welcoming and seamless. We truly appreciate great service, so thank you for being awesome. We’ll definitely be back!

It’s been decades since a visit to the Valley Longhorn for us, with the Airway resto closer to home. It looks great inside, with a lean to all things country/rustic decor. Wifey and I didn’t do the lunch buffet, but one son with us did—and let me tell ya, for $16.95 that is one heckuva good deal in 2025. He engorged 3 plates as you see in my pics. The smoked Ribeye Sam I had was generous with the protein, and tender as all get out. I hit it with creamy horseradish, rather than their BBQ sauce. Another good deal was the single-trip Salad Bar, which can be upgraded with a small sam, and choice of meat. Wifey loves her Smoked Turkey, so it wound up being a great lunch in her opinion. Many folks do not care for the Longhorns, but fair or not, we don’t compare them with anyone else in the BBQ world (to include my back deck). They are who they are, and we’re definitely on their team…

My wife and I popped in for dinner. Great service staff, seated and ordered right away. My wife had the BBQ Beef sandwich with fries and I opted for the all-you-can-eat salad bar. She liked her sandwich and I was very impressed with the salad bar. Very good strawberry lemonade as well. Good eats!

Longhorn is a good staple in Spokane.
While I don’t think it’s the best BBQ I’ve ever had, I’ve never been disappointed in my meal. I love their potato salad and corn bread muffins.
We like to go get their all you can eat salad bar as there aren’t very many salad bars left. The hot food selection isn’t anything to write home about and sometimes it’s hit and miss but I still think it’s worth $16.
It’s always clean and the service is always great.
If you’re craving a good salad bar, I do suggest you check it out.

If you want GOOD bbq, or any bbq even worth eating, go literally anywhere else. I have heard so many people rave about this place so hubby, kids and I went out to dinner last night. Not a single one of us had good food. Ribs were dry to the point they were like plastic, my $20 brisket sandwich literally only tasted of bbq sauce, and the brisked was also a weird texture. One of my kids (who loves hot dogs btw could eat them for every meal) took maybe 2 bites of her hotdog and said she didn’t like it, upon trying it i understood why- it was like rubber. Onions rings tasted and felt like eating cardboard..
Service itself wasn’t terrible, but also wasn’t great.. I usually feel terrible if im not able to give a tip, last night I felt absolutely no need for a tip at all.
I really dont see what people rave about this place for. Maybe it was an “off” night. But I was so disappointed i spent so much money for food with less quality than a fast food chain.

We went for restaurant week. There were 6 of us and we were all very happy with our meals. The service was great. I had the smoked whiskey pecan bar for dessert and it was out of this world!! I hope they add it to their regular menu!!!!

Being born and raised in Spokane, Longhorn BBQ was a staple with my family. We would often get the take out to bring home whenever we drove through the Spokane Valley. The food has been very consistent throughout the years. When you get food at Longhorn, you know exactly what you’re getting. To me, it tastes the same in 2026 as it tasted back in the 1990s.
Over the past few years, my family has also used Longhorn for reception food at family gatherings. The catering staff has always been easy to work with, our expectations were fully met, and the pricing felt very reasonable.
If you’re looking for a reliable Spokane BBQ staple, I’d absolutely recommend Longhorn.

We hosted our company Christmas party in the upper room here last Friday and we were blown away with the amazing service and food! Our server Anthony had the food out on time, drinks filled and even set the tables up the way we prefer to have them set up for our group. The food was delicious as well! We have used this room in the past and this year they even had a reader bord welcoming us with our names on it which was a really great touch along with the Christmas decor on point. We are already booking the room for next year. Thank you Anthony and your team!
