This is a great family owned, family friendly place that is a blessing to have in the community.. The service is too good, too quick and too efficient. If you have issues with always sitting down to a clean table then this place is not for you.
The food is also too good and I blame them for all my weight gained this year. I am in the process of trying to find something on the menu that I don’t like by being the first patron to order and eat every item they have on the menu.
Unfortunately, I am about 3/4 through the menu and have yet to find something I don’t like, thus the blame on them for my weight gain.
So if you don’t enjoy eating good food….don’t come here. If you don’t like a clean and friendly staff and community conscious restaurant owners, again, this is not the place for you.
P.S. please make one of your booths bigger soon so I can fit in it.

Last weekend we went to Imperial for the town wide garage sales. Decided to try the Long Shot for a quick breakfast. The atmosphere and staff were for nice, but the food was less than worthy of the high price. I ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy $6.95 with a side of hashbrowns $2.95. I was charged for the hash brown breakfast of $14.95. The biscuits were very doughy and under cooked. I couldn’t even finish one of them. My husband ordered the one egg breakfast and requested a pancake no toast. He got the one egg and a couple slices of bacon on one plate and a very small pancake on another plate. He was charged $10.95 for the one egg and bacon and $6.95 for the one small pancake, no hashbrowns came with his order. I also got a cinnamon roll and their very small apple pie dessert thing and my bill was $45.00.

The food is here is delicious and well worth the price! I go often for breakfast with my wife! It is our favorite place to eat in Chase county! They have omelets or breakfast burritos that fill a platter! Brought family here and they want go back in when they are in town! The owners and staff are always willing to serve and take time to chat when not busy!

An exquisite treat for your palate. I had the Chicken Fried Steak Breakfast and it was amazing! Fast, friendly service and a warm inviting atmosphere. Food just like grandma used to make. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

It was very clean. Staff was friendly. Extremely disappointed with our appetizer. We got the loaded tater tots, came with 3… we were a couple. Why 3 when there was 2 of us? 100% not worth almost $9. We both got the chicken fried steak, one with white gravy and the other with brown. Very underwhelming. The steak was so hot you could barely eat it while the corn, mashed potatoes and gravy were all cold. Little to no flavor.

My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner here the other night. I had the Chicken Parmesan and he had the Deluxe Cheeseburger. Our fries were hot and crispy, I got a side salad that was super fresh and the dressing was a generous size. We’ll be back!
