We live 45 minutes from Winston Salem and had to travel here for my Mom’s appointment at the Cancer Center. This is HER favorite place in the world to eat and it has been years since we have been to Long John Silvers, so i wanted to surprise her. This visit was ABOVE AND BEYOND our expectations! We were warmly greeted and welcomed by SAM, who was AMAZING in every way! Sam even invited us in prior to opening because he seen us waiting in the parking lot. I mean…it felt like a level of kindness that i just hardly see these days. That blew both of our minds! Our food was EXCELLENT and everything was pleasantly clean…even the bathrooms! We even LOVED the choice of music playing! Both of us could barely sit still in our seat because the music playing was an Ol’Skool VIBE❤️! Every employee on duty looked clean and well groomed. This was a memorable experience for Mom and I and we genuinely enjoyed our food! We look forward to our next visit

Ordered online to this location as a quick grab for me and my partner. Sent my partner in to get the food, 10 minutes went by so I asked him what was taking so long. He responded he wasn’t sure, then 5 more minutes and he’s texting me they have to remake our food, but not sure why. Did they give our food to someone else? Did they just not get to it yet? Honesty would be better than just telling us that you have to remake it with no context. I understand that they are busy at dinner time but we’ve now waited 30+ minutes at the location for food that was ordered 15 minutes in advance.

We went especially for the fish. Some pieces were not fully breaded. The taste was good just not the Long John’s great. The restaurant itself was messy. Most tables hadn’t been bussed. The restroom was a place you walked in and right back out. We will not be going back, and do not recommend this restaurant.

There is no long John silver’s near our house and my lovely wife loves there chicken. So every few months we go and enjoy there food. Great food, clean, a little slow fast food but happy wife happy life.

Fast Food fish may not be for everyone’s palate, but the Long John Silvers fish dinner I ordered was hot, not at all greasy, and the fish, fries, and hush puppies were very fresh. The combination restaurant seems to be more drive thru oriented, but the staff were friendly and kept the car line moving.

It’s been a decade since I’ve had Long John Silvers. The last time was at the combo KFC/LJS near Costco. Service THERE was some of the very worst I’ve EVER experienced, ANYWHERE and it was filthy dirty.
HERE the service has been 100% on point, the orders, through drive through, have been correct, fresh and hot.
Since eating here for the first time 4 weeks ago, we’ve now eaten here 3 times, each as good as the first time.
The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 on the food is the fact that they don’t carry the full LJS menu (clams, etc), but what they do carry is done well and served hot, fresh and crispy.
Certainly some of the best “fish and chips” in the area.

Fast food has just gotten worse and worse over the past 5 years. Cleanliness, marginal, service less than marginal, food marginal at best. And what is up with the color of the Chicken? The tenders are normal, and the chicken is dark brown.
