Went here 2 days in a row while I was in town. Food (long johns side) was hot and fresh both times. Only 1 long johns in my home state so whenever I am near one as I travel, I stop in. This is one of the better ones. Treasure it Sioux City!!

This is a combined operation for Long John Silvers, and also A&W. I am only rating for Long Johns, as I never order from A&W. Generally have pretty good luck here. As with all fast food, they are trying to predict how much they need and be ahead of the game, so there are certainly times when you are eating fries that should be fresher, etc. For the most part they do a decent job at providing food that is fresh and hot, and decent quality. There is a decent amount of condiments available, tarter sauce and malt vinegar for the fish, BBQ sauce for the chicken, honey for the hush puppies, ketchup for the fries etc. For being a fast seafood joint, they generally do a pretty decent job providing good service and food for the amount you pay.

Haven’t been to a Long johns in forever, this one is partnered with an A&W. Cashier was ok I mean she didn’t greet us at all but took our order slowly. And cleaned up the dining area as needed. Our food came out on plates with small portions but it was ok. I mainly came for the hushpuppies and they did not disappoint.

Uber eats did it again, I didn’t get order we ordered. No food no drinks no shake. Ubereats-has the most incompetent people who can’t check to see if it’s all the order or deliver food products correctly to door. I’ve spoken to LJS last week found out driver are not asking if all is there Or separating multiple deliveries.

I will be avoiding this restaurant like the plague! Very dirty and not well kept at all. Gunk on the soda machines. A hair in the food. Cashier got my order wrong right off the bat. The vibes in this restaurant are waaay off as well. Brother wanted to try A&W, now I don’t think wants anything to do with it. Will not be returning and set a bad precedent for other locations of both restaurants as well.

Not good at all. I ordered popcorn shrimp meal and sat to wait. First the root beer was almost too sweet and had no carbonation. Shrimp was hot but chewy. I can say usually the food is decent but not today for some reason.
