I had a great experience with Catyln L. today. She was very friendly and helpful in helping us placing our order. She recommended somethings that would accommodate our family! On my last experience, Danielle the Manager was also very helpful and caring! I feel as this place gets a bad rep for petty things. Unfortunately, the workers get the heat of things. Some people are rude in this world and impatient and unthankful, but not me. I appreciate it. Thanks

Had a great experience at Long John Silver’s | A&W! The food was good and the hospitality really stood out. A staff member even greeted everyone with high fives and sang a birthday song for a guest. I just moved here from out of state and felt very welcomed. Such a nice surprise at a fast food spot!!

The place is filthy. Like, literally filthy. In would’ve took more pics but didn’t want to embarrass the two understaffed employees who were there. Every surface has dust, grime, filth. I see that’s a common theme based on reviews, I also see responses to these from the owner who clearly does nothing about it. Food gets a 2, because it’s hard to really enjoy something when it’s made in filth. Especially eating under pounds of dust and cobwebs waiting for it to fall on your table. Kitchen is equally filthy. When I walked in, I was asked to use the kiosk to order, as the two employees were clearly understaffed. They were working hard. Underpaid as well, I’m sure. Many visitors did not want to use the kiosk, which is understandable. The one worker politely accomadated them at the register. Other than service, this place shouldn’t be open. It’s filthy, floor is gross, walls are gross, the dust and grime is crazy. I’ll be contacting health deptb with photos as well. I visit here about one a year to see if it’s improved, it never does. Cleaning is easy.

We happened on this combination Long John Silvers and A&W aa we were passing through Charles Town WV… honestly we did not know what town we were in…

These are places you do not usually see together… the atmosphere was great… and the food was good too…

Wendell… the manager came out and introduced himself and thanked us for coming in… a nice touch…

I would definitely suggest this place as a place to grab a bite to eat…

I feel really bad that they were short staffed. When we pulled up to the drive through they said we had to come in and order and there was a 20 min wait. We did that and it was exactly 20 minutes. But when the fish came out it was cold, borderline soggy and really oilly at the same time. Not what we were used to. Also the recipe might have changed since a couple years ago when we came. Just not the delicious experience we loved and remembered.

We came in today with our family 10 of us. The restaurant was short staffed but the two employees who was the only ones working between 1-2pm did amazing. The food was excellent and worth the wait. Thank you again as this is one of our favorite places to eat. We come from Stephens City VA just to eat here . Keep up the good work. You both was overwhelmed but kept going strong. Can’t wait to come back and visit again.

Caitlyn was one of the best staff attendants we’ve ever had. It also appeared that she was doing everything (taking orders,
cooking and attending the window). Very pleasant. We will return because of her. The fish was cooked perfect. I cannot comment on the atmosphere as we went through the drive-thru. Excellent customer service. She’s definitely an asset. Had to leave a review!

Well, hopefully you’re reading this review BEFORE you go to this restaurant, unlike us.

First the food, it was as expected. Greasy fish, burgers and fries. It was fresh and good.

Ok, moving on from there. First when you walk in to the restaurant it simply doesn’t feel clean, the floors are slick with grease and the overall condition of the store is worn and beat up then on top of that very unclean. It’s hard to take pictures of just how dirty this place is. When you look at the lights and things hanging from ceiling they are fury with a combination of grease and dust, under the counter is days worth of trash where the floor hasn’t been properly cleaned, all tables were dirty and the list could go on and on. But then I went to the restroom, barf… Not from a single mess made today but build up over many many weeks or even months of grim and gross, the floors so slick you feel like you’re ice skating. Thank Goodness I didn’t need to sit down.
All of this so I then check out reviews and I found a review from 8 months ago with pics of damages in the store with a response from the owners where they are “distressed” about the exact same concerns I mention today and they are “conducting a thorough investigation” yet LITTLE to nothing has been done about the issues (see pic).

Just had a doordash here. I waited 20 minutes for it. There was four other people waiting a head of me. The cook and the guy severing were lost and moving very slow. One lady was in the office just wandering around. Noone was helping customers at register and them leaving. While another employee is on FaceTime in the lobby washing the same window 3 times not helping. I’d stay clear the worst it’s ever been!!!!!
