A friend and I stopped by Gasoline Alley for lunch today and were pleasantly surprised with our meals and the cute atmosphere. (I came to this cute restaurant with my teen daughter probably 20 years ago or more and barely remembered what it looked like.) My friend loved her Chef Salad and I loved my Tuna Melt and fries! I think my hubby and I will have to come here soon – he will love it here!

Stopped in for lunch after hearing a few friends talk about this spot, and I am so glad I did. The place has that cozy, old-school charm where the food feels homemade and the staff make you feel right at home. I started with the chicken noodle soup, which was rich, flavorful, and perfect for a chilly day.

The sandwich I ordered was huge, packed with layers of meat and fresh ingredients that made every bite worth it. What really surprised me was their house-made chips and dipping sauce — the kind of combination that keeps you reaching for one more.

Even when the place got busy, the service stayed friendly and fast. It is easy to see why people keep coming back here. The food has heart, the atmosphere has character, and the whole experience just leaves you smiling.

Update: I just downgraded my review from 5 stars to 3 stars. We returned and this time we were not nearly as impressed; but in fact we were pretty disappointed with the food. The food was just almost ok. The corned beef on the Rueben was so rubbery and chewy that it was difficult to bite through it and chew. The sweet potato fries were too soft and soggy and the tuna melt was too greasy and soggy too. We probably will not return again. Below is my original review.
This is a great little restaurant/bar. The atmosphere is very quaint, fun and inviting. They have a lot of old gas station signs and memorabilia on display. The service is prompt, efficient and friendly. The food is good and the portions are good too. I really enjoyed my Philly Cheese Steak and he enjoyed his Rueben. We will return.

Waiter had BO very unappetizing. Drinks were good. Lots of food choices. Garlic parm wings were good but better 1st day not leftovers.

We had one of their special sandwiches – the Reuban. It was very good. Also, the corn chowder was very tasty. It took us a while to get a table even on Thursday at noon. It was packed. So you know if everyone in the area is eating there, it is worth the stop.

Small, but quaint restaurant/pub. Burgers, salads, chicken, pizza… Full house at lunch, but quick, friendly service. Fair prices. Can’t go wrong.

This place I frequent, probably once every couple of months.

Love their Reuben sandwich, but today, I asked what the server recommended and she said the Bath 3-Alarmer. This sandwich was a solid alternative to the Reuben. Sweet, salty, savory. Very generous with the meat portion as well.

By buddy got the garlic Parmesan wings and they looked, smelled and tasted delicious. Very-much a recommend there!

Finally, their fries, a very traditional approach to French fries. They taste and have a fair-like feel.

If you’re around or seek a very good “bar” food, go to this place.
