I usually get takeout but the dining room is usually nice and quiet…perfect to bring your husband for lunch. The crew is friendly & the food is fresh to order but be sure to remind them of that silverware! (Last time I had to eat the coleslaw with my hands! ) They have an all shrimp deal for about $15 that I like to purchase but my favorite is the fish. Bathrooms are decent too!

We love Long John Silver! Food is always fresh. Tastes like it did when I was little & my dad took us all the time. Service is fine. Most times they are very busy..could use a little update to the dinning room area.

It was kind of strange the one girl that waited on me seemed to know what I already wanted how can that be? I would say with an experience like that you’re sure to win! And then as I ate my meal I watched her with other customers that came in and she was just as polite to me as she was to everyone else how could you go wrong coming in here to Long John silver’s to me it was a very good dining atmosphere and experience I will always come back when I want fish again and I know that it’ll be a wonderful experience again.

I basically will never write a review for a fast food place since the experiences typically are standard across locations, but this LJS is so terrible it deserves special mention.
Once every decade I decide to give LJS a go. Last week I attempted an online order, the transaction was processed without issue, and I proceeded to the location to get my food where we found it closed with the lights off in the middle of the business day. No explanation on the door and the hours indicated it should definitely be open. Nope, just closed. I had to complete a lengthy survey to request my money back, but I’m not even sure why they accept online orders if they aren’t going to be open. The manager was kind enough to message in the survey response to come in for a free meal, which was a nice touch.
Unfortunately, today my partner and I attempted to eat at this LJS location, and once again the doors were locked and the drive thru was shut down in the middle of the business day. This time two people could be seen inside and they just ignored us. Classy. Sure, come in for a free meal if you can manage to show up when we decide to actually open.
I don’t understand how a national chain is able to just not be open when they are supposed to be. How can their management allow this to continually happen? I guess it explains why LJS is a dying brand around the country. You never see this with any other chain.

Grilled shrimp perfectly cooked and seasoned. Dip them in malt vinegar, lemon juice, and/or cocktail sauce and they are WOW! (save the tartar sauce for fish, lol) These are way bigger and better than I expected! 15 for $10, yes please! I’m skipping red lobster next time and saving some serious $$ Thank you Guadalupe for the recommendation!
UPDATE: I’ve eaten here 3 times this week because, yes, the shrimp is that good! I just wanted to shout out to the friendliest drive thru workers in Las Cruces! Everyday at lunch it has been someone different but the friendliness and happy attitude is outstanding. I’ve found my favorite new lunch spot ❤️

Well about 3 weeks a go I was visiting this place and I was amazed service, food was amazing and I convinced my wife to go back again to try their food! Well here comes my desapointment again I walk in with my family to enjoy a nice dinner we walk in and for the next 5 minutes ( it was longer ) I even yell HELLO 5 times I heard a guy ( cook ) on he’s phone. no employees in the front to greet not one employee on site well after fell like a nobody in this place just standing there with my family was not a good filling well we walk out to the car when to the drive thru and some one answer I ask for corporate office number and 4 employees pop out from the back like why? Just noticing that one time I was amazed the next well old expectations were back sorry long John silvers you dropped the ball big time! Sorry I stop by and give them another chance!

Unfortunately for this visit our food tasted redipped rather than freshly made… So it was extra greasy and stale… And the portions keep getting smaller… Yet the price keeps going up… Great service and atmosphere… Just lacking in quality and of course quantity for the price…
