First time trying Long John Silver’s in Amarillo! This location is brand new (only about a month old). Drive-through was busy even on a Monday evening. We ordered the fish & chicken platter with sides—everything was fresh, and the fish was so good I ordered more. Staff was friendly, and the restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. Great first experience!

We drove from out of town to eat LJS because it has been years and sounded so good. It was delicious! My only complaint is the fries seemed old, they were almost stale – ish. One thing to remember is fries get old quickly, speaking from years of experience in fast food service. Im sure these fries are delicious when they are fresh. Overall, it was great! Can’t wait til next time.

My wife and I visited LJS after church service on a Sunday. We were there a little after 10am. I was surprised they were open and yeah, I know, its not your typical place to have breakfast…BUT perfect place for “brunch”. Other than the employees, there were maybe 5 customers, and that included us. The food was great and definitely hot and fresh. We were done and out of there by 10:45ish, and the crowd was starting to make its way in. Both into the restaurant and drive-thru.

The line was pretty short this evening. We waited maybe 10 minutes. We didn’t have much else to do this evening, so we decided to get the tasty fried fish goodness. It was like eating childhood. Everything was crisp and fresh and the boxes were filled to the brim with tastiness. Exactly how I remember it from when I was young. Love that tarter sauce and vinegar combo. The green beans are phenomenal. We bought a bottle of the vinegar. I would buy the tarter if they would sell it to me.
The lady at the window was very nice. She didn’t act rushed or rude or in a hurry. She chatted with us while we waited for the food.
Great experience all around. Good job LJS!! We forgot to ask for a pirate hat though.

Not worth the money,paid $56 to get so much breading, hush puppies were very dry and overcooked as well as the fries. The fish was not thoroughly cooked. When I took a bite into it you could still taste the batter. I did not get my order right when I received it. I do not recommend. Save your money.

Waited in line at the drive thru roughly 30 minutes. Waffle fries are stale and i couldn’t barely even bite a piece off, hush puppy also stale, chicken was flavorless and like it’d been sitting out for HOURS. Corn was edible. Very disappointing.

Ordered for the first time and had high hopes. Fries were old, chewy and hard like they refried them. The fish tasted like just grease. I also got a mt. dew which was watered down. I would not recommend or return.

Went through drive thru girl working window was polite and friendly, service was quick and fast but food was horrible, fries were like rubber and chicken and fish were luke warm and chicken crust was just as rubbery as the fries, didn’t feel like turning around and going back,but for it to be as expensive as it is they should keep better eye on the quality of food being sent out, and maybe better hold times for items, I know for a fact fries shouldn’t be sitting there for as long as these had to have been…..$30 dollars for 2 meals not including drinks and couldn’t even eat the fries. So disappointing

First time gettting food from here. Didn’t dine in took it to go instead. Everything that was in my meal tasted the exact same besides the Cole slaw, It was as if everything was fried in the same oil. The chicken, hush puppies and waffle fries all tasted like fish. They did add plenty of sauce with my order which was a plus and the food was out pretty quick. Overall wasn’t pleased with the food. The flavor just isn’t there and the meals don’t come with drinks, if I’m paying $14 for a meal I’d expect to get a drink with it.
