Food is good. But you only get a medium amount of root beer when you order a large. I guess they dont know how to wait until the fix goes down and top it off? Nope. Just put a lid on it and call it full when its 50% foam.

Honestly shocked me how tasty and plentiful this taco was. There were no words once considering the value . . . on a Tuesday. I literally just sat there devouring this exceptional simplistic concoction SMH.

Update 2: one day after I posted the above they raised the price to $1.50.
Still SMH, but slightly differently.
Update 3: 5/21/19 – roughly a month after original post, the $1 taco Tuesday is now 2 for $4, and they changed how they make them. Obviously, the second price hike within 2 months is mue no bueno; and to add insult to greed, the tacos aren’t as good. The once eyebrow raising sweet heat is a distant memory, similar to the thought of me returning to LJS.
What a shame.

I normally love to eat here. I love the chicken planks. This time the food wasn’t as good as it normally is. It just didn’t taste as fresh. I don’t know if it was cooked earlier or what was wrong. The fries were greasier and chicken was not as good, but it was still doable. They are more on the expensive side, however, so you always expect top quality!

Dined-in. Tables were sticky, floor needed to be swept and mopped. There was a foul smell in the air. Food was…questionably edible. I didn’t finish all of it.. Tartar sauce tasted old. The only thing that was good was the hush puppies.. Fries are okay? Definitely not bringing business back here. But, hey, at least the cashier was nice.

Went through drive-thru and ordered one shrimp dinner with fries and coleslaw, and one three piece fish dinner. They didn’t put any fries with the shrimp dinner which I paid for and my three piece fish dinner had kegs and clucked. Apparently they don’t know the difference between fish and chicken. If that wasn’t bad enough one of the pieces of chicken was only about half cooked. The shrimp was good but the chicken and fries were soaked in grease. I won’t be spending my money there again. If you chance going there check your food before you leave, it might prevent a disappointment when you get home.

Bathroom was disgusting. Tables dirty. Floor greasy. Old food caked on the floor. After 20 minutes of waiting we found out they were down to one fryer. Tarter sauce on the floor covered with a wet floor sign….not like they were busy either. No excuse. Got my money back and headed straight out of that salmonella palace

It was great! We ate inside and the food was cooked fresh. And the employees were nice. Shout out to the guy who did the cooking. He checked to make sure that we were fine and if we needed anything. Great customer service!

Terrible very greasy food! Went on my lunch break and had chicken, fish and shrimp platter and I was shorted fries and cole slaw lid was partially opened and was a mess in my bag! Worst of all my fish, chicken and shrimp were all toooo greasy! Unusually greasy. Was across town and late in my lunch break to get refund so I had to just put up with it. Seriously won’t be coming back here anymore, at least not to this one.

Visually clean, but not really clean, like everything is covered in grease. Food was subpar, couldn’t finish. The employees I came into contact with seemed fine enough. I used to love LJS, but I don’t think I will be returning, sorry.

We had lunch here today and the place is filthy. Table is very sticky and employee watched me wipe it off. Floor needs swept and mopped. I understand it is lunch time, but there are only 5 customers here. Very disappointing as this used to be a favorite of mine.
