I personally heard one of the workers, a young girl named Grace, refer to a black man who was a customer as a monkey!!!! Everyone has a right to their own political opinions, but that is just outright unacceptable. I TRULY could not believe my ears. I have black family and I can tell you that neither I OR any of my family will be returning to this place again.

I just go through the drive through and sometimes it’s quite slow. But the food always tastes like it’s supposed to. After a long day of shopping a box of hush puppies is a great Smack on the way home. Especially when they’re fresh.

I used to love LJS but with heart problems and weight control I just cannot eat it much anymore. There is way too much sodium in the food, the French fries are always soft and limp not crisp and firm. Our local store was rebuilt a few years ago, the Covid hit and we are just now able to return to in-dining.

Was cleaning out my email when I found a two for one variety platter deal. Gave LJS a shot with two grilled salmon/shrimp platters and was pleasantly surprised. My first LJS experience without fried food… except for the hush puppies which were very good.

Have gotten food here many times, most of the time, average quality. We ordered a large order on 3/12/23 and the food quality was the best it has ever been! Chicken was great, fish was great, fries were average, hush puppies were great.

This was average for Long John’s. Service was OK but I definitely wouldn’t call it fast. Clerk was not very friendly but also not rude or incompetent. Food was typical of the franchise. I think the fish filet had been sitting under a warmer for a while. The chicken & hushpuppies were good.

Wow not sure what happened to the rice bowl but obviously false advertising by LJS. Just had to measure what was in the bowl because I immediately said “boy did I get ripped off”! Half cup of rice and 6 shrimp, did not even cover the bottom of the bowl. Be aware, you will still need to cook dinner.

The place is redone and it’s really nice on the inside, making it the kind of fast food place you want to sit down to eat at. And the food is great, so if you want a break from hamburgers and fries but still need food quickly that won’t break the bank, this is the place to go!
