Soda machine was down, but staff did there best to make up for it with bottled options. Food was tasty and fresh and quick. Staff was friendly, helpful, and courteous, and had positive attitudes. Would eat here again

I just felt uncomfortable going in. It just didn’t feel ‘right’. The shopping plaza behind it is barren and boarded up; the main reason LJS was successful in the first place. Still gave it a chance.
The counter clerk was distracted so me and a friend waited. The clerk acted like she didn’t want to be there but she wasn’t combative. They had to cook more chicken so we had to wait. When we got our food, my friend asked the clerk if we got drinks and we were told ‘combos’ do not come with drinks. I already spent some change over $30 dollars to get 2 regular combos (3 piece chicken / 2 sides) and a 6 pack of hush puppies. I went back for 2 large drinks and was charged $7.50 ($3.75 apiece) totalling close to $40 in food. I mean, $3.75 for a large soda!? Not to mention the chicken planks were more like chicken nuggets in size. And ‘double’ of any side seems discretionary based on the staff’s mood which seemed to be ‘sour’ considering the small portion of waffle fries I got.
To top it off, the place was messy. Tables were not clean, food crumbs all over the floor, the grease marks on the floor were not only unsightly but unsafe, and there were loose wrappers throughout.
I believe the owner is just squeezing as much as they can out of this franchise before it stops turning profit and closes up for good. The staff isn’t getting paid to care for the customers and the restaurant’s cleanliness. All they are there for is the paycheck. My fond memories of LJS are just that now, memories. It’s a shame how far this franchise fell.

Getting harder and harder to find a long john silver. A go to when your craving fish and fries with a taste only duplicated by long john silvers. Great food but very expensive anymore. Significantly more than a McDonald’s or burger king.

Great place, friendly staff. I only use the drive thru, but am always greeted with a smile. They always remember my sauce and get my order exactly right.

I really hate the food, but once I had the grilled salmon, I started to get hooked. I seriously love this platter. Very good taste, but my only complaint, which is why they received a 4 star, is due to the prices. It cost me $21 for this and for my partner who got a cheaper meal. I don’t purchase drinks due to how pricey they are. I think they need to rethink their prices, and now especially with COVID, they better, or else their going to literally sink. Other than the prices, I have no complaints.

Come on Long John Silvers you can do better. So disappointed after my visit. The food was ahh. Change your oil. The fish tacos where wrapped in foil and put in the bottom of the bag under 2 boxes. Tasted horrible. Service was questionable. Atmosphere…place just seems run down and not kept up well.
