Got food from here in 2016. It was pretty good. Ordered food 7-15-17. Order was all messed up, they ran out of CHEESE, ordered Alfredo and there was not even a cup of pasta in the bowl and it did not have the right topping added. The business took their phone off the hook so we couldn’t even call them. Very expensive for all the screw ups that occurred. Go to Max’s pizza it’s a lot better. We will never return to this place.

Overall, I had a good experience here. Ordered a Philly cheese and cheese pizza. The waitress was really nice, and attentive. The fries were excellent. The sandwich was really bland, and the pizza was ok. The sandwich was disappointing — If it wasn’t for the waitress, I’d have had a much lower rating. Might have just caught the cook on an off-day and only had two items from the menu, so other things might be better.

Ordered two pizzas and some wings to pick up last night. Friendly on the phone with me and was told I would get a call in 30-40 minutes when it was ready. I walk over to see status of food after 45 minutes and no call realizing must be busy on a Friday night and they were busy. Food was not ready and I was told another 15-20 minutes. I said no problem and went ahead and paid for food. Came back after 20 minutes and was told again that it would be another 20-30 minutes . So, dissapointed , I asked for my money back and all I got in response was “we are sorry about that.” Meanwhile , had to figure out dinner plans for two starving young children and an upset wife. After patroning regularly the original Long Island pizza over last 10 years I’m very upset that the new ownership has let what once used to be our favorite spot to grab dinner will now not even be an option for me. Other local neighbors have said the food grade has also taken a turn for the worse. Trying to save a buck with less expensive ingredients and top prices for pizza is not a good way to revive a restaurant . I won’t really ever know because this family will not ever eat there. Also , we rent our beach house on occasion and will not recommend Long Island as a place to eat. Good luck making it in a southern beach environment with mediocre food and terrible service. I hate leaving bad reviews but this one was necessary .

Do yourself a favor and don’t even bother. Order from ANY other place around. Quoted 45 mins and cold pizza showed up over 2 hours after I ordered it. (I’m maybe 4 mins. away…tops)

This was by far the WORST service I have ever received, ANYWHERE. DO NOT order from this pizzeria unless you’re trying to give yourself a coronary. The “owner,” with whom I spoke on the phone, was the rudest customer service representative I have ever encountered. She was rude before we started ordeding, but when we received the wrong pizza and asked that we either be refunded or have the correct pizza made, she not only stubbornly refused any reasonable solution that was offered her, but also became fiercely hostile. She informed me that it was my mistake (although three other people heard me order correctly) and that their restaurant was now conveniently closed. The rest of the staff was of no assistance, I heard, “Sh**, we’re closed now, too bad,” in the background. I’ve never even written a review before, but this experience blew me away. Having worked for ten years in the restaurant industry, I can’t believe someone has been able to survive treating their clients in such a manner, and the only explanation I can come up with is that they prey on tourists. If I could give them less than a one or caution you in any other way, I wholeheartedly would.

Awesome place! I spoke with the owner for 15 minutes while they were preparing our food and got to hear his story. These are the types of business that I like supporting. He is a really nice guy and he has excellent employees that were eager to please customers. The good was fantastic as well! A++!

Highly overrated. Pizza was average at best. They automatically add a 18% gratitude and we were a family of 8. Between 2 split bills we ended up paying a $36 tip for crappy service. Go somewhere else for pizza. Dominos was WAY better!!!

Having personal experience here, I can honestly say it’s one of my favorite restaurants. Some of the negative reviews really caught me off guard, as in all the time I’ve spent here I’ve never seen any customers treated poorly, and the food is definitely worth the price. A personal favorite of mine is the cold Italian combo. I eat here all the time, I recommend it!

Live here and have been eating pizza from Long Island for the past 3 years with Mr.Jack..the original owner I think and did a great job..Now under new management so they are getting settled in so I understand but the wait time is a little to much especially when they tell you 25-30 min. and you get there and sit for another 10 min…Pizza is ok..Love the crust but the toppings are skimpy. .The prices do not reflect skimpy..If you are going to be conservative with your toppings be conservative in my pocket..In a nut shell..long wait times and then some, great crust but you’ll starve on thfae toppings.ir .and oh…get some real hamburger to use as a topping….So to Long Island pizza..You are in the south..we arent as stupid as you think we are..we are fair people and want fair prices for good food..Your fairness will depend on if you can make it here, in the south or not..

This is, hands-down the best pizza on Topsail Island. Been going here for many years, and it is ALWAYS awesome. Yes, it gets crowded. Yes, it can sometimes take a while. It’s because it’s GOOD. Never disappointed, and I will return again. Did I already say it’s worth any wait?
