I had this place on my list of where to go, I finally did, and I was a little disappointed. First things first, the service was pretty good , Camila served us, and she was friendly and helpful .We ordered a few apps and a Singapore Noddles with duck to share. The apps were ok, but the Noddles needed more flavor, I hoped for better, and if it was close to my house I would return, but am not sure it’s worth the drive after what I had today.

Had the following:
Shrimp Fried Rice – a bit Bland and way too many onions. Had a decent amount of shrimp. The egg on top was a nice surprise.
Soup Dumplings – Very Tasty. The Pork filling was great.
Crystal Shrimp Dumpling – these were amazing. Filled with a lot of shrimp and very tasty.
Duck Spring Rolls – crispy, tasty, delicious. Not greasy. These were damn good!
Hong Kong Roasted Duck – Very Good. Some parts of the duck were a bit tough but it didn’t stop me from eating it . Loved the flavor.

All in all a decent experience. Would not go out of my way to visit again, but if I am in the area I would go and visit again.

We have wanted to come here for a while after hearing rave reviews about their Pekin Duck. It did not disappoint.

The Pekin duck was wonderful but the apps were amazing too!

We got the salt and pepper chicken, soft shell crab bao, duck Scallion pancakes, crispy chicken curry balls, hk custard tart, sesame balls, soup dumplings and steamed pork buns. A lot yea but so glad we tried everything. It was all fantastic. We didn’t get any drinks other than the milk tea and taro milk. Could have done without those though.

The fried rice with duck was the best we have ever had. This place is a veritable gem and we wish them alot of success in the new year. Thankyou for a great last meal of 2022!

I must commend Long Island Pekin for being open and serving the Community during COVID19 Restrictions. A very nice looking bar in the front. A duck carving station as well. The food is very good. Clean facilities. Reservations are required at this time. No walk ins. Take out is very busy. Credit cards accepted. I’m giving 5 stars because the staff and the Owner Jason was incredibly hospitable to our friends and family at our private event that we held here on Saturday February 27th. Highly recommended. I’ve Posted pictures as well.

Was my first time here actually enjoying the Pekin Duck. & just as the other reviews say, Great food! Everything was delicious, the staff was very kind and gave good service. The Pekin Duck is amazing. Great size, tasty sides and great flavor! We also had the soup dumplings and chicken wings.. wow! So good too! The drinks were nice and refreshing! I would recommend this place for sure. But def make a reservation ahead of time & be patient with the duck, they tell you it’ll be around 25 mins, but the wait is well worth it!

Got takeout from the joint. Very nice . I like the scallion pancakes the best ! Peking duck is also fire but if you’re looking for a cheaper duck fix, check out those or the noodles .

A Chinatown – esque spot in the middle of no where long island that serves up traditional Peking duck and Hainanese chicken?! Of course we must go and try!

They offer clean and safe outdoor dining currently with a reservation only! So don’t think you can roll up in here without one!

Service is super friendly and everything was timed accordingly. A lot of the dimsum and sauces used on certain dishes was geared heavily towards the American palate vs. Asian palate but still not bad. Their specialty cocktails are spot on too.

One of my dinner partners tonight has been here twice before this visit so we already knew coming btu this reservation what was a repeat order and what we shouldn’t even bother with ordering… We started with the pork soup dumplings: the dumpling skin was good but the dish needed another few minutes in the steamer… filling was tasty but spongey in texture but the seasonings were spot on; sesame balls: perfectly crispy and loaded with toasty sesame balls on the exterior and the glutinous interior was soft with a delicious sweet purple yam center; crispy fried fluffy pork buns: Steller with a light golden crisp on the outside and a chewy soft inside with a good amount of juicy roast pork filling (loved it so much we ordered it twice) ; salt and pepper chicken wings: perfectly crisp but the sweet and kinda spicy sauce it was tossed in wasn’t necessary tbh; soft shell crab bao: crispy to the max, bao loaded with fried shallots too but the accompanying sauce was ehhhh… same weird sweet slightly spicy sauced used in the wings came on the side and it didn’t do anything for this dish.

For our main we had the whole Peking duck with all of its accompaniments of steamed bao buns, sliced scallions, sliced cucumber and a side of hoisin sauce: the duck skin was perfectly seasoned, soft and crispy, loved that they deboned it and the breast meat was uniformly sliced up and the rest of the dark meat was gathered and piled under a large shelf of sliced crispy duck skin. Opted to get the whole poached Hainanese chicken and although it was again perfectly done and tasty, I was hoping they would go the extra mile and make it Singapore styles where a flavorful chicken rice is accompanied.. But alas it was just chicken and a side of white rice. The sauteed string beans were a great side dish as well.

For dessert we got the Chinese donuts, the egg custard Ala mode (next time I’ll get this with just some whip cream in the side) and what we thought was going to be a pineapple cake turned out to be a boring pineapple bun from a Chinese bakery so we won’t be ordering that again.

We will most definitely be back to enjoy more duck though!

The food is delicious. We love the saltwater moon. It was surprisingly good. Curry chicken buns reminded me of my childhood in China. The curry tasted milder than the Indian ones. Chashu was delicious. Peking duck spring rolls were okay. Green Jade dim sum was delicious.

Went for the first time yesterday and everything was wonderful. The duck scallion pancakes, flat noodles and fried oreos with homemade whipped cream were excellent. The dumplings, sesame balls and pineapple bread were also really good. The service was great and the restaurant was very clean. The owner is so funny and friendly. We will definitely be returning!
