Long Branch has been serving my family for years and is a weekly lunch spot for my parents. They are treated like family
When they come to eat and as I was there I noticed that family atmosphere was shared with everyone that came through the door. The food portions were large and served fresh. They always have a daily lunch special with a drink and dessert for one low price. This is a local favorite and I can’t wait for the opportunity to eat here again.

If you want homemade country cooking, This is your place! They probably got a couple grandmothers back there In the kitchen, And they know how to cook! They are very good at what they do! And the food is always more than delicious! They don’t let you leave hungry! That’s for sure. They go by a day by day menu. And that makes for a better meal! Because they can put all their time into what they are cooking instead of cooking multiple things Everyday! When you walk in the door it smells like you walked into your grandmother’s house. Just delicious food! I would recommend this for a family event.. And of course bring the little kids. It’s not a big place but the best places never are..

The food here has always been great… BUT if you are going to only take cash as payment then the Information online needs to explain that. A sign on the door that informs me after I arrive doesn’t help. Could at the very least inform the customer while you have them on the phone. It’s the least that can be done.

My favorite restaurant in Bogalusa! I make sure I stop every year when I’m here. I was so excited that I forgot to take pics of my dish, but trust me, it’s as tasty as it is pretty to look at. I highly recommend the catfish, but honestly everything is so good. I love the baked beans and I’m not even a big beans fan, unless these ladies made it.

Really good location for home cooked meals. Large selection. Friendly service. The daily lunch specials are the best. My personal favorite is the chili cheese burger. I am very partial to that though. Many other options to choose from though. A small cozy place. Lots of southern charm.

After reading reviews of this place, my wife and I went there for lunch on a Friday. Inside it is very small and crowded. We sat ourselves and a waitress came by to take our order. My wife ordered shrimp and I ordered the oysters w/ mac&cheese. While waiting for our food to come out we noticed how filthy the walls and floor was also when ever someone walked by the floor would shake as being unstable. The owner cane out, he was easy to spot, over weight and dressed in black t-shirt and black short pants looking like he just climbed out of a dumpster. Finally our lunch arrived, I first took a bite if my mac&cheese to find a mac noodle hanging from a long black hair. I call a waitress over and she kindly offered to get me a new fork. Need I say more about this dump. I will NOT return and will never recommend this place. Dinners be warned…

Love Fridays at the Long Branch Cafe! It is fish day, they cook the fish thin and light golden.. My favorite. I have been eating at Long Branch since I was 19 years old, im turning 40 next week and I am thankful it is still around for my chef salads and fish day!
