I went here (I think they are under new management because they changed the name to D’Mayal) because I was going to a pot luck and didn’t have time to cook my own dish. I ordered a tray of arroz con gandules, and I wanted to order a full pernil, but there wasn’t time to make one and the only pernil that was made was what they were serving. So rather than turning me away, the owner said that what he could do was cut up a full pernil into chunks, and make me a full pernil in carne frita style. I was impressed by the way they were able to solve the problem and roll with the punches! The food came out great, and tasted home made! Everyone at the pot lunch loved it! I highly recommend you go here and order some take out!

Came early morning I was greeted by a gentleman and a lady cooking in the back. I ordered every flavor empanadas they had available. It was very authentic very large empanadas price was $14 about $2 per empanada. Favorite was beef.. Chicken could have been better and cheese was cheesin’ nice draw to it! It is next to a 711 kind of confusing where to enter however entrance is located on side street.

I ordered beef empanadas. They were refried, so gross. They were super salty hard and chewy, not crispy as an empanada should be. The coffee was reheated. The young lady told her to make fresh coffee and she didn’t think I heard it. The older lady said, no it’s still a little warm, don’t make it fresh. They went back and forth. She didn’t make it fresh. The young lady was very nice. Next she should listen to her l believe daughter and make it fresh.

Our order was made via phone not online. The Food was no good. The Beans were watery and you can tell they were canned beans and had no salt. The empanadas de queso were American cheese not good at all. The chicken empanadas were dry and tasted like vinegar. The rice was old. We ordered drinks, they charged for them then upon delivery they said they didn’t have the drinks and they brought us random sodas that were cheaper than the drinks we ordered but we were not refunded. The only reason I gave 1 star is because 0 stars is not an option. Do not waste your time or money on this place.
