LONG BEACH Seafood- Singapore’s leading seafood restaurant and also the CREATOR of the Original and Best Black Pepper Crab in Singapore. It all started at Bedok Rest House (1946), where LONG BEACH Seafood was then one of the few restaurants that served local food. During that period, locals hardly ate out, except for major celebratory events such as Weddings. Located along the beach, LONG BEACH was frequently patronized by the British Army and soon became a bustling location popular with locals attracted by the sandy beach facing the sea. The crowds continued to increase with time as word of mouth got around of the delectable seafood served.

Have been going to this outlet with family for quite a few years already. Margaret and team have always taken good care of us, with top notch service with a smile and delicious food recommendations at reasonable prices. Would rank this as our favourite seafood restaurant in Singapore!

Total spent $500+ . Very worth it. Food served was superb! Amazing and delicious. Fresh and well cooked. Ordered their signature black pepper crab, very worth it. Service is excellent. There is this auntie (i forgotten her name) , her service attitude is wow wow wow, powerful. She helped to dismembered the chilli crab and black pepper crab , serving us all the meat. Service crew like her should be well recognised. Beautiful Sunday evening paired with great food and awesome company, blown away. I will definitely patronise Long Beach UDMC again. Strongly recommend this to all my friends and family and anybody . Worth the price, not like their Competitors (jumbo, inconsistent service quality).

Margaret was our waitress and she made the evening even more spectacular than the tremendous food. They weren’t too busy so she shelled the live red chile alaskan king crab for us. Funny forget to get the fried buns to soak up the delicious red chile sauce.

Long Beach Seafood at East Coast Park is one of my go-to places for great Singapore-style seafood. Their chili crab and black pepper crab are both excellent — the chili crab sauce is rich and flavourful, especially when paired with fried mantou, and the black pepper crab is just as good with its strong, peppery kick.

The seafood is always fresh, and the staff are friendly and attentive. I also like the relaxed seaside vibe here — some tables even have a nice view of the sea, which makes the meal even more enjoyable. It’s a great spot for family dinners or when friends from overseas come to visit.

Black pepper carb is a must to order, spiciness is there and the crab meat is fresh.
Chilli crab with mantou also nice but might not be as good as black pepper crab, still another meal recommended to order.

Good services from waitress who are attentive to table and clean whenever we finish dish.
Able to reserve table from google maps, very convenient for popular place at peak hours like this.

– Chili crab princess crab (5/5)
Pair with mantou or rice to finish off the leftover sauce, it was so good.
The crab meat was fresh. RECOMMENDED
– Deep fried baby squid with honey sauce (4.5/5)
It was crispy, sweet and the taste was exactly the same as it was 20 years ago
– Baby kailan with minced garlic (5/5)
Nothing special but it was well executed

Best chilli crab I ever tried. The manager and staff were both helpful and welcoming. Since we came a bit early, they offered to take off the shell as well. The food was delicious and fresh with great view. Highly recommended!

Walked in to Long Beach restaurant at East Coast tonight. Excellent service by Alicia, Xiao Ling and Vincent from the start to end. Friendly and fast response by Xiao Ling at the reception; patience and professionalism from Alicia when addressing our food queries; and high level of initiative during the meal by Vincent and Alicia. All in all, it was a fantastic experience for us. Kudos to the team that made us feel very welcomed and which made the good food taste even better.
