The food, service and ambience was as nostalgic as I remembered (at a different branch). As I reminisce the yesteryear’s the feast today was no different as I tried the same dish again forever ago. Good to know the quality is still as robust from a different time and branch.
An off the menu service: they could deshell the mud crab IF they are not busy. This is less messy and easier to consume for beginners to shellfish.
I would recommend and repeat.

My three-star rating reflects our perception of our meal for the price we paid. We rated service and attentiveness of the staff high. The decore is ok, but just ok, but that didn’t influence the rating. Our meal was ok – lobster and crab (part of it in a chili and the other in a pepper sauce). And while both were what we’d asked for, I/we were left wondering what thd lobster and crab actually tasted like; the sauce covered up the flavour. In hindsight we’d have been happier with steamed / grilled seafood. On top of that was the $1500 AUD bill for a meal for four of us that failed to satisfy. For that kind of money we should have been blown away. We weren’t.

We came for crab and it delivered. We ordered 1 kg Dungeness chili crab and 1 kg Dungeness black pepper crab, plus rice and veggies. Both crabs were super fresh—the chili sauce was thick, eggy, and just spicy enough, and the black pepper version had that dry, aromatic kick Long Beach is known for. Portions were generous and everything came out hot.
A couple of things to be aware of: prices are on the high side (you’re paying for quality seafood in Singapore) and service can feel a bit fast/rushed when it’s busy, so know what you want to order. There can also be small add-ons like towels/snacks. For us, the food made it worth it—great place to bring visitors for a proper Singapore crab night.

We have a seafood dinner on 25 Jan 2026. The chilly crabs is superb. The prawns are very fresh. Other dishes are done to our palette. The prices are reasonable. The staff are friendly and attentive. Overall we have a pleasant & enjoyable time. We look forward to our next meal there.

If this isn’t a 10/10 dining experience, then I don’t know what is. Messy-style — gloves and aprons are a must here — but trust me, it’s worth it

First time in Singapore, catching up with friends—they chose Long Beach to introduce me to Chili Crab…what a treat!!! The service was great at our outdoor waterside table and the crab was over the top-delicious and perfectly prepared. A real treat to dine here.

Excellent seafood restaurant. Every dishes are delicious with fresh ingredients and well cooked. Live seafood are shown and you should ask staffs for the price for the day you visit. Really enjoy the tasty food. We had Alaska King crab live which cooked in black pepper came out so good. Their popular chili crab are really delicious and paired well with the bun you have to try. Seating are air conditioned and also outdoor area. Reservation is recommended and easy from google map also whatsapp. English menu are available and staffs are helpful. Credit card accepted. Price are a bit high but worth to try.

Food taste was normal that didn’t leave an impression with us. Broccoli was quite raw and seafood bee hoon does not have wok hey while steam soon hock, Ba Wang prawn were alright. Sally (black coat) was an elderly staff without a customer-oriented mindset. She replied with “….lor” that made customers felt that we must know how to calculate seasonal price, then why do we need her? Other service staff were more polite than her. Need continuous improvement overall.
