Where to begin?
The place smells mucky, and we were handed dirty, filmy menus.
The waiter was disinterested in service, and was rather unprofessional. We ordered steaks, medium and med. well. Both steaks were overdone, though I’m not exactly sure that was the cooks fault…being the waiter let our meals sit for quite a while under the heat lamp. I was able to see the plates from my seat, sitting there while our waiter took more an interest in fraternizing with other waitresses. Wife sent her steak back, which was promptly sent back over cooked again.
The bill arrived with no corrections.
I laughed at the ‘suggested tip’ printed on the receipt.

Seating was fast. But our waitress didn’t come take our order until 4 minutes sitting at table. She then let drinks run empty and brought back the wrong drinks every time. After our salads and appetizer was eaten we sat there another 8 minutes bwfore she came and let us know they were out of the chicken we ordered. So we chose another entree and waited another 10 minutes for thw new food to be delievered. I also want to mention the garlic mashed potatoes have way to much garlic. So too many mistakes, to expensive and bad food. Go anywhere else to eat!

Went to celebrate 53rd anniversary. Husband wS so looking forward to a good steak. It was just ok. The waiter asked him if he wanted it smothered in onions which he never saw. My meal was worse than OK although I must admit my margarita was great. Never go back!!!!!!!!!!

Hubby and I went for an early dinner and decided to go to Lonestar because it’s a local business. We will not be going back. I ordered the 6 oz filet without bacon and without seasoning. The first one had bacon and seasoning. The server apologized and said she would bring me another. The side orders came at the same time as the first steak, as well as the onions and mushrooms I ordered to have with the steak. The second steak came without the bacon and seasoning, but it was a sirloin, not a filet. Now, all the other foods are cold and I’m told that the kitchen manager is going to select and cook my steak. The third steak was a filet and was cooked to order. By now, I’m worn out with it all, eat about four bites, and ask for a carryout container. I cannot go into the issues with my husband’s meal because I’m just tired.

Lunch was on the expensive side. I went off the lunch menu, which was limited, and paid the extra dollar fifty to get the salmon. It was 15 for the lunch ribeye, 16.50 for the dinner salmon.
The salmon was good, sweet bourbon marinade and cooked good. My companion got the ribeye, and it was rather thin. I thought it needed seasoning when I tasted it.
It won’t be my first choice when I’m back in town, but it’s not bad enough to avoid.

I am 70, I look 70 and was asked for my ID for a beer to have with a steak dinner I was about to order; my wife and I got up and walked out. I will not be insulted by some 18 year old. Never again. By the way, they are proud of their food. The brief glance I had of their menu was about $40 for a steak.

Slow service and there was only 5 tables with people seated, no reason for the wait. Drinks were weak, tasted like Kool-aid, salad was stale, the New York strip was a rip off with zero seasoning and cold. Baked potato was only item that was as it should be. Won’t waste my time or money here again.

This place is touch and go. Some experiences were great while others lacked. Take your own risk.
