Great place to paddle in from 4th crossing. Burgers on point, fries seasoned well, crispy onion rings, cold beer. After 7.5 miles of river, the burgers were extra good.

Great Lunch Spot! We were cruising River Road and decided to stop here for a casual lunch. Grilled chicken sandwich, fish sandwich and shared onion rings. We both enjoyed it.

The food was so good! We ordered a burger and the homemade nachos. The river was up enough that we barely got stuck on the rocks. Tubing prices have gotten a little pricier than I remember, but overall the experience was good. All dining is outdoors and there’s even seating in the river, which is where we ate.

This is our 2nd time here and we love it! Came on July 5 and got a nice spot. the water flow was pretty good I was surprised since we haven’t had much rain lately. we did not go tubing but just hung out in the river for the day, you can choose. They will shuttle you to river entry spot and you end up back here. Love that you have access to good food, facilities, and there was a DJ playing music. It was so relaxing and everyone was having a great time! Friendly staff too, We’ll be back.

We came to float the River and it was an awesome experience! The staff was wonderful and explained everything we needed to know about and how it worked! Definitely will be back to float again! If you have questions just message them on facebook and they will get back to you faster than a phone call!

Been going here since the earlier 2000s and not much has changed ( in a good way ). The location is wonderful, the parking is great, the staff is pretty friendly and the price rates are still decent. I will say the food is not as good as it was years ago but still pretty tasty after you spent a few hours in the sun. I always recommend this place to people wanting a nice trip to the river to either float or just wade in the water.

I am updating this review. I wrote one 2 years ago which gave it 5 starts and now that seems inaccurate. We moved away for about 6 months and when we returned the food is still good, the menu is much larger, they have made many updates to the deck. We were excited. We went on a day it wasn’t busy because we wanted to be able to go down to the river with our drinks. There was hardly anyone there, at the restaurant or down at their river tables. We walked down to the river with our drinks waiting on our food. As soon as we made it to the table a man and and possibly his young daughter came up to us and informed us we could not be down there without paying $25, then back tracked and asked if we ordered food. Then he told us we had an hour and looked at his watch. Us and one other small group were there, not tons of people. Then he stared at us until we went up to get our food like he was counting the seconds.
The food is good, but that is ridiculous. It can be a great place, but we won’t be back. I value good service and they have lost it.

Unpretentious place overlooking the river with good music on the Sunday we were there. Dog friendly. Dogs enjoyed romping in the river. Good dive bar food though would have welcomed a better beer selection. Would definitely go back!

We launched our float trip from this location, but didn’t have anything to eat at the restaurant. The area wasn’t that crowded for a prime time in the summer floating season. There were a fair amount of people there, but it wasn’t like a New York subway, like some of the other places we’ve used. The atmosphere is also very nice, since it’s buried under a ton of trees, which are as aesthetically appealing as they are natural canopies in the brutal Texas heat. They also had a DJ playing music, and good music at that… there’s other places that play garbage from the early 90’s, like New Kids and Paula Abdul…
The tubes we rented were for our coolers, but they were very high quality tubes if we were to float in them ourselves. The staff blowing them up also got everyone knocked out extremely quickly, we barely waited at all from the time we rented them to the time they other two guys had them completely filled with air. They also filled our personal tubes for those that bring their own.
