As I’ve stated before, I am Peruvian and I’ve been there multiple times so my bar for Peruvian is a bit higher or I tend to critique a little more.

Man…. Idk if I’m exaggerating but that might have been the best lomo I have ever had. Perfectly cooked steak, flavors were popping. The presentation was great. The yellow and green aji’s taste exactly like the sauces I’ve had in actual peru. The extra lomo jugito on the side is an unnecessary but amazing touch. The plantains, perfectly soft and sweet.

Man I can not say enough. The portion was amazing too. The photos on these reviews don’t do it justice. It’s a big plate. I will definitely be adding this to my rotation. I’m going to try and order different things but after having this lomo, idk how I’m gonna resist. Such an amazing meal. 10/10.

Second visit: …got the lomo… still a hit ‍ ‍ ‍

I got the pollo à la brasa and some desserts and chicha morada. Only thing I can critique is I wish I got the same fries from the lomo with the pollo but it was still good. And after a couple visits now, I can’t get enough of the sauce… that alone is amazing. The alfajores I wish had a tiny bit more of the filling but they were still soft and delicious. The flan is always a must and it didn’t disappoint. Just go!

It’s been a while since I ordered Chaufa online for my family, but this Chaufa at Lomito blew us away—super fresh, flavorful, and beautifully served. Portions are huge (always enough for leftovers) and I love that they always use biodegradable containers.

The food was incredible — I had Lomos Saltados and it was cooked perfectly: super tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The staff was really friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. This time we only ordered the Lomos Saltados, but even as takeout, everything was fresh, carefully packed, and clearly made with attention to detail. You can really taste the freshness of the ingredients and how well-seasoned everything is. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu!

I can’t say enough good things about this wonderful soulful eatery. I’ve been ordering food from them for months, sometimes even the same thing twice in a row. And without fail I have been satisfied and smiling! It is good home cooking! Their soups, and the way they prepare their meat and rice…many of the dishes are truly healing, and I am so glad they are around! Give them a try!

I’d like to add that when I was sick and ordered some of their delicious soup and my fav Aji de gallina, they kindly called and texted to let me know they were out of one of the two dishes and then threw in another soup and something else to my surprise! leaving me so full and happy beyond my expectations, and I am very thankful and it helped me feel better faster! What a lovely establishment!

One of the best places to eat Peruvian food! The pollo à la brasa is top tier! I had a whole chicken with the fries and salad. The meal tasted authentic and savory. Easily recommend this place if you’re in the Westport area

First time trying peruvian food and I really loved it! I ordered the vegan lomo and the Lomito sandwich, both were delicious and the portions were big. The maracuja cheesecake was very tasty too, and the staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for Peruvian food with great plant-based options.

First time we ordered from here. The food was espectacular well presented and generous portions. Sad that is not a seat down dining space available. This is a gem!!! Will come back when back in town. Delish

One of my favorite places to get lunch and dinner. The rotisserie chicken is absolutely delicious. I ordered the white rice with sweet plantains … twice this week. Customer service is the best as well.

I really hate to give this place a 2 star review, but I was not impressed by what we ate here for the cost. We ordered 2 lomo dishes. Was super pumped to have found this place because it was near to us. I will say it was very easy to order online and it was ready when we pulled up. Now for the food, the portion size was okay, but not great for $18 a plate. They also offer different cuts of meat that would cost more. We opted for the top sirloin. It was nicely cooked and tender, but had no flavor to it. I think the reasoning for this could be because of their packaging. I have added photos of what I’m talking about. They use a very thin paper-like container that absorbs all the juices that the lomo naturally has. The container also starts to fall apart as you are eating. This is a big issue because this is a take out place. The plantains are five out of five. That was the best part of the dish. The rice was on the dryer side which didn’t help the plate. The onions are a great touch, but there are too many of them. I’m not an expert in this dish just giving my opinion. Tomatoes are also cut on the bigger side. Overall wouldn’t pick this as our go to spot. The major turn off for us was their sauces. For some reason they tasted like straight pickles which is not a thing that they were used to when it comes to Aji. Had that not been the case it might have given it a better flavor. Again I hate to give it a 2 star because I want this place to be a 5 star, but it’s just not. I’m sure their other plates might taste better, but if you can’t get the sauce and the lomo right it does not give me much hope for the rest of the dishes.

Very good food. It feels very homely and fresh.

In this case my order was baked chicken with fried cassava, ripe and potatoes cooked in water. Very good!

My boyfriend and I enjoyed it a lot!

I recommend it 10/10
