Had a couple of cheese slices. Let me start by saying that our uncle owns a pizzeria in the Bronx that I have loved since before I married my husband. I compare all pizza to his. This compares! The pizza was thin/ medium with the crust perfectly crunchy with soft fluffy dough in the center. Met the owner Joe and he was so hospitable and welcoming. We had a couple good laughs. It was my first time here ind I had no idea how big this place is! He showed us around. I wished I lived closer because I would definitely consider this place for parties like graduation etc. my sons going to school in Utica so I’m sure he’ll be back with a bunch of his friends and big appetites! I found out about this place through some camp friends who frequent this place. I better thank them. I forgot to take a picture before. I only got the after and the since we got to go!

Good pizza, great service!
Driving through town, my first time here..
The pizza slice I got was room temperature, and the pepperoni slices weren’t actually part of the pizza, just laid on top after the pizza was made.. it was still delicious!
The sauce is a bit on the sweeter side which I usually don’t like, but they did something to make it work. The dough and crust was amazing and not burnt. The lady working is very friendly and welcoming.
Will definitely come back for more!

Just go there! We were out for a Sunday drive with our friend and we had been to the other location many times and always wanted to try this one. It was an hour drive for us and the place looked closed with a few cars in the front. We were the only folks inside and were treated and fed like kings and queens. The owner was so friendly and accommodating. The virus and not being able to hire help has affected the whole area and many businesses. This owner however, is hitting it way out of the park. The best I have ever ordered. The pizza and wings alone provided 7 servings. And, we reheated some of the wings and pizza in the microwave that we took home and they were still outstanding. That alone says a lot. Enough! Look at the pictures and that’s a meat lovers pizza. Go there! Tell the owner “some Guy sent you! Enjoy the love!

We had a large party, 16 people. I was so excited that Lombardo’s in Ilion was able to accommodate our large party on a week night, I booked the reservation 2 weeks in advance. The food was delicious and fresh the down fall was that the back dining room was warm however we had it all to ourselves. Another minor default was the request of a panini. 1 sandwich took 3 hours to make. The reason was because they made the dough from scratch little to our knowledge, we were waiting and waiting and waiting for the 1 sandwich to come out. Had our guest known she would have ordered something else.
Over all the chicken riggies were delicious, temp cool (due to our party size) tuna sub super tasty however included onions when requested no onions, steak and greens subs phenomenal, Chicken Parm was delicious, sausage subs amazing.
All in all, it’s a small town that has lost a lot since the major employer shut down. I’m still happy with our food, just wish we had more acknowledgement during the process. We got there at 5pm left just after 8pm.

It is obvious that they have a very loyal following. Very spacious dining facilities for groups large and small. I could only eat a small portion of the ginormous calzone, Ha ha ha. It was Outstanding!!!

Great service! The owner is super family-focused and really tries hard to make your party comfortable. The food was awesome. We were at a party of 16 recently, and it was a nice experience, like always. It was a hot day, so it was a bit warm inside. The restaurant was short-staffed because some people were on vacation, so we waited a bit, which was cool because we got to catch up with family from out of town and have a drink.

Lombardo’s Pizzeria Plus II in Ilion has been a solid go-to for pizza, dinners, subs, ect for years. This is by far my dad’s favorite restaurant in the valley and we frequent it often. The owner John is a very nice guy and always willing to chat with you when you walk in.

Food was good 3 meals. We felt rushed and unnecessary rudely served. Waitress obviously didn’t feel like working she just dumped the plates of food on the table walked away. Then threw 3 takeout boxes on the table and said checks at the counter. No offer of desert never checked see what we thought of the food and never brought the appetizer we ordered. But she sure remembered to charge for it. I asked about deserts and was just stared at with a look of disbelief. We could have been treated better at McDonald’s in the hood. And it would have been a lot cheaper than $85.00. so we won’t be going there again or recommending the place. If your a decent human with manners and money go elsewhere. That my recommendation.

My sister had them cater for a family party and overall the food was good but the riggies?? Those were some of the BEST I’ve had in the area! They were topped with a bunch of mushrooms and although I hate mushrooms, I’m often forced to pick them out of my riggies but with these I didn’t even care. The whole table was talking about how great they were as well
