Came here for a late lunch and the food did not disappoint! The tacos are absolutely amazing, and pair well with the beach themed cocktails. I had the crab birria tacos, and my husband ordered the regular birria and carnitas tacos. All were delicious!
The service is also fantastic. I was super happy because I have issues with cilantro (tastes like soap to me) and they were more than happy to make my tacos without it. The crab birria had just the right amount of heat and was super flavorful. The staff also provided great recommendations for drinks to pair with our lunch.

Lolo’s is conveniently located right off the sandbar of South Beach. The atmosphere and ambience is nice. It took a long time for service and for the food to come out once ordered. The cheeseburger was decently good, and the fries were more tasty. The cream filled churros were delicious.

I had the veggie tacos with Brussels, mushrooms and corn. They made it with olive oil instead of the chipotle, because they advised me that oil contained butter. Friendly service, fun spot.

We had the fish tacos and they were very tasty. We arrived early for dinner, which made for a relaxed, quiet experience. The dessert was great as well.

This restaurant has amazing food. The interior is not updated and the seats are old and the vibe is closer to a diner, BUT I must say that the food makes up for it. I had tacos the first night and they were delicious. Be careful, they charge you for salsa on the side. Chips and salsa as an appetizer is $5. I had chips and guacamole and asked for salsa as well. They charged me $4 for salsa. Didn’t tell me ahead of time that they were going to do that. I had breakfast every morning during my 5 day stay at the hotel. AMAZING. French toast, pancakes, avocado toast, fruit bowl, and bagel with salmon and cream cheese were my favorites. The portions were large and flavorful. The restaurant is attached to the Stanton Marriott hotel and is a good place to grab your meal in the southern part of South Beach way down by 1st St.

What a cute little spot. Food was very fresh and well prepared and the service was excellent. I might end up coming back all 3 nights that i’m here. I love a place that shares the history of the founder on the wall. Great place for Mexican.

I’m not normally one to complain about portion size, but we ordered two kinds of salsas at $2 each (salsa/chips not free, fine) and they were served in McDonald’s ketchup cups. I assumed it wouldn’t be a big deal to ask for extra but the waiter said I’d have to pay $2 more per salsa cup! House policy. Asked the manager and he said the same. Chef policy! The food here is ok, not great, but South of fifth deserves a good Mexican restaurant. Sad to see tourist trap service like this in the neighborhood.

Food was very good! Chips, Guacamole, and Queso were great. The churros were also quite tasty. Unfortunately the service was disappointing. Our server was an older women. She was quite rude to us when it came to dividing our check. She threw a fit until it came time to tip. Then she acted like our best friend and hovered behind us making sure she got a tip. Hopefully next time we get someone different to serve us.

Avoid this restaurant. We were two couples and asked to split the bill 50/50, yet our card was charged for the entire bill. This is not a small oversight — it shows a serious lack of honesty and professionalism. They also don’t provide the happy hour menu during happy hour unless you ask, which feels intentionally misleading. There are plenty of places that treat customers better.
