This restaurant is run by the warmest man, Stevie. The food is the best Hawaiian I’ve had. The meats are all so tender and seasoned to perfection. The sides are delicious, too! The portions are huge, and the prices are great! A fun island vibe with the music and decor makes this a good spot to grab yummy grub!

I’m grew up in Hawaii and I love spam musubi. It’s probably one of the easiest things to make and I know this because I would make them and sell them at school like lots of kids would. Whoever made the musubi’s here either hates their job or they are lazy and don’t respect their customers. The rice was dry and hard, and the seaweed was a mess.

Worker was rude and food was bland minus the fire cracker or whatever flavor it’s exactly called but not good enough to be good anywhere else just their most flavorful. The white rice had as much flavor as the mac salad. The garlic chicken was just fried chicken with a little I guess ‘garlic’ tery type sauce. Supremely disappointed since I was looking to a good alternative to Mo Bettahs. I’d go to Mo Bettahs just for the great service over this place even if their food was good. If you love bland food and rude workers at your food service place you’re gonna love this place.

Being from Hawaii, this is definitely nowhere authentic or same level. The kalua pork – they use pork loin instead of pork shoulder. They don’t put cabbage. It’s dry. They will sometimes give your entire portion of nothing but a chunk of fat. I know it gives it flavor while cooking, but remove it afterwards. No one wants to eat that.
The katsu sauce doesn’t taste the way katsu sauce should. Me and my husband would come frequent when it first opened, but it has significantly gone downhill to the point where it’s never even an option when discussing where to eat anymore.

Sadly disappointed, I should have read the reviews of how it used to be good. The rice was the best part of the meal. The chicken wasn’t good. I should have ordered something else because it was expensive for not tasting good. I can’t imagine returning to try something else because the experience was a huge let down.

I ordered the Three Meat Mix with chicken katsu, kalua pork, and teriyaki beef. The katsu is good, especially with the katsu sauce. The teriyaki beef is decent, and the kalua pork is forgettable. There is nothing fancy or special about the rice, and the mac salad is good.

The service was friendly and helpful. I asked for recommendations and was told the katsu chicken, teriyaki chicken, and kalua pork were the way to go. The restaurant plays island music, which I enjoyed. It’s a smaller dining room, but didn’t feel crowded. I don’t think the cost to satisfaction ratio is there. It’s not bad, but overall, I prefer competitors like Salty Pineapple and Mo’ Bettahs.

While in Utah, we went to Lolo Hawaiian barbecue and to Mo Bettahs. Lolo Hawaiian was much better! The portions were bigger and the pork was much better and not as salty as the other place I would really recommend going here. We got 2 big meals out of the portions they gave us.

The dish is well prepared and was prepared super quickly. After ordering, I don’t think it took five minutes for them to call us to eat.

Unfortunately, the brown rice was a little hard and the meat had too much fat. We’ve had it at other Hawaiian barbecues but never with so much fat on the meat.

The normal dish is very well served and it is possible to easily feed two normal people. If you’re not very hungry, order the smaller plate.

Always love supporting LoLo’s Hawaiian BBQ because it reminds me of poem and has the taste/flavor of their food items that is on point to what I would get back on the Hawaiian islands. The service is always friendly and efficient with fair pricing for the quality. Guava cake is always a sweet treat on top of the delicious food.

This place is the BEST! I love Hawaiian BBQ and this place never disappoints me! The owner is a great guy and sometimes you will see him there! There are lots of options to choose from for food. My favorite is a 3 meat place with Short Ribs, Beef, and Katsu chicken but all the meats are tasty! You get rice and either macaroni salad or green salad. There is a drive thru but it is kinda hard to find. You have to go around the back of the building to drive thru. But they are very quick! Truly 5 STARS
