L’Olivo is proud to have a wonderful following of very regular clientele, and the restaurant is the perfect spot to savour delicious Italian flavours, celebrate, laugh and drink good wine in an enjoyable, relaxed and welcoming locale. In the winter you can enjoy a hearty drink in our bar area and in the warmer months, we have a handful of al fresco tables, where you can sip an Aperol Spritz. The restaurant is contemporary with traditional touches, featuring original brickwork from the 19th Century ‘Nelson’s Head’ public house which stood before us, modern decor and fresh table linen. This is one of our absolute favourite restaurants, and it never disappoints. For the starter our real highlight are the prawns they are outstanding, and the mains filetto pepe and the liver are both unbelievably good and full of flavour. Everything is cooked perfectly and presented beautifully, with great attention to detail.
Honestly, this place can easily compete with the well-known restaurants in central London — quality, taste, and overall experience are top level. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely keep coming back!

Thank you all for making my partner’s birthday such a special occasion. We were recommended by our nearby host, Sally, who swore this was an amazing restaurant. I couldn’t agree with her more. The atmosphere was relaxed and spotlessly clean. The staff attentive and welcoming and willing to give personal feedback on some of their favourite dishes. The food was epic. We spent twenty minutes trying to narrow down what we were actually going to order as so many dishes sounded delicious. We can’t wait until we are back in the area as we will definitely be back to try more amazing culinary treats.

We booked last minute for an early time slot, I had been up since 5am but wanted to see my parents for a nice meal. We got there and it was pretty quiet (5.30p.m.) which was lovely. We got great advice and the menu was really appealing. We told them we couldn’t stay for long and just wanted shared nibbles and a main and they were just as welcoming despite that. The food was some of the best Italian I’ve had in this country. I had a veal dish. Delicious. The wine we chose was spot on. Despite only buying mains and drinks they still offered us complimentary limoncello at the end. By the time we left the place was full so I think we got really lucky that they had a free space which makes me more surprised that they were so accommodating to us just having mains.
Food is pricey but absolutely worth it. Top quality.

After living for 8 years in Italy, this was possibly the best Italian meal I’ve had outside Italy. The lamb was cooked to perfection as was my partners duck. The service was awesome (Thank you Stella and the team) even though we were the only people eating on the small terrace, we were not forgotten and checked on every 20 mins or so. Nothing was too much trouble even though our starter was not on the menu, the chief happily made it for us. Portions were good for the price with the added bonus of a free espresso and some limoncello. This is going to become one of our go to places in the future. We’ll done the management and staff of L’Olivo, you smashed it. If only all restaurants treated their customers so well and produced food so good. Will definitely return soon.

Beautiful resteraunt. The food is amazing and service fantastic. I had the rack of lamb which was cooked perfectly. Portion sizes look small but are just right. Felt comfortable but full. The deserts were all lovely and the limoncello cream served at the end is just lush. Those is our 2nd time here and will definitely not be the last
