Really great experience! The waiter was very polite and professional. We had the Queso, Burrito Bowl, and Quesabirra tacos (with lamb). Food came out HOT which is so rare these days. The drinks were fantastic as well.

As a first time visitor to Stillwater, I was enamored by the warmest welcome from Bartender Derek Malchow, whose personality boomed as bright as the fabulous ambiance and delectable dinner! The salsa trio, guacamole, and queso fundido paired with specialty crafted margaritas comprised the perfect nighttime nosh. Overall service was unparalleled, as Misty (MJ) delighted us with her vibrant and gregarious charm, and General Manager Kimberly put the punctuation mark on this exemplary experience. Kara Leigh from TPA will be back for a savory snack soon!

My experience at Lolito Cantina was a mix of highs and lows. I accidentally left my driver’s license in the car, so I wasn’t able to order the drink I wanted. Unfortunately, the server didn’t offer me any alternatives, which was disappointing. On top of that, we had to wait a long time to place our order, which added to the frustration. Another downside was that the menu didn’t indicate gluten-free options, which would have been helpful.

That being said, the food itself was absolutely delicious! It’s the best Mexican cuisine I’ve had in the U.S. so far. I wasn’t a fan of the duck dish, as it had too much chocolate for my taste. However, I really enjoyed the drink called Tepache—just a heads-up, it’s very sour!

The service was polite and attentive overall, despite the initial hiccups.

Cool place, okay service, terrible food. Got duck tacos and they were extremely salty. I added everything to them to make them better and they were very disappointing and had no flavor.

Food was horrible. Most of the food was bland and the flavor profiles didn’t make sense. Very pretentious cliche Stillwater food. Our server was horrible and never checked on us when we got our apps/food. Go to Nacho Mama’s. Way better and much more reasonable pricing. I would be embarrassed if I owned this place. Will not be back.

We have been to Lolo before (I need to leave a review but it was before I started doing these). This was the first for us to try the Cantina version. The restaurants are part of the same ownership in case you are wondering.

This is the high end Mexican you’ve been looking for. I really like Pajarito in St Paul but the food here is better and bar has so many options. I need to expand my Mezcal knowledge and tastebuds apparently because this is the place for it. Incredible selection.

Our server was wonderful and the restaurant itself is beautiful. And that bar is insane! We had the bacon plantain appetizer which was delicious and presented well. My wife had the duck mole entrée which was tasty but a bit heavy and a lot of food for one person. It would be better shared with 4 or even 8 people with chips. We had their salsa sampler by the way and enjoyed it immensely. I had the seabass entrée which was very good and a different option from the standard fare. It had so many flavors from the olives and capers yet was not so heavy.

I can’t wait to eat here again.

Kim, at the bar, was amazing! Very helpful and friendly.
The Lolo burger was decent. Chips n x3 Salsa’s were excellent.
The House Marg was pretty good as well, especially being on tap.
Nice decor, and obviously a solid selection of Agave distillate’s.

Cool atmosphere. Missy was very welcoming and an informative guide. We got pineapple salsa, classic guacamole, and nachos with carnitas. Everything was so delicious. First time there and we are excited to go back for the tacos!

Good clean food.. would be a 5.. but chips and salsa aren’t on the house.. and portions are small.. This could be viewed as a good thing, due to overindulgence. But – one drink, chips/salsa, and a veggie bowl.. ran me $30 bucks.. just a little high IMO for the amount. Regardless, a nice scenic area and spot.

We’ve been to Stillwater so many times and simply had not tried Lolito until recently. It’s was a warm day out, so we sat on the patio and ordered some drinks, chips & guac, and tacos. We got slammed with rain halfway through, which was fun, so we ran inside and finished up. Service and food were great.
