I wanted to like this restaurant, but I really do think they can do better.
Service can be improved and the vegetarian offerings can definitely be better. But on the upside, the price point is actually quite decent and the complimentary chips and salsa is delicious!

Now for the details:

We came for lunch on Tuesday and there was just one other table of guests. The restaurant is dimly lit, but it seemed clean and there were no funny smells.

The server greeted us and brought warmed chips and salsa right away. The chips were nice and crispy with just the right amount of salt and the salsa is very tasty. We asked for hot sauce and they delivered, hot and delish. If you like spice, you won’t be disappointed!

The two servers were friendly enough, but usually no one was around and you’ll have to wait for them to do something at the bar and look up to ask for things. One server did check on us during the meal. However, before ordering, the other server was supposed to go and check with the chef to see if they had any dishes with chicken thighs/legs instead of breast, but she never came back to continue taking the order. When we mentioned that to the other server who came a little later, he never went to check either. So, chicken breast it was!

The cocktails were decent and reasonably priced. I found it odd that they didnt offer us waters at all though, especially since this is clearly a location you would need to drive to. But that’s not the end of the world.

Please note that the beans that accompany the dishes have beef in it (no one in my party eats beef). Good thing we asked, because even though I made it clear I was a vegetarian (I even said it in Spanish to make sure there was no confusion), the server did not mention the meat in the beans that comes with the vegetarian fajitas. I asked what veggies were in the fajitas, but the server did not seem sure.

Now for the fajitas itself… It was hot and sizzling, which is always nice. The sweet onions and bell peppers were tasty, but most of the vegetables included should not be there and were over cooked. Who uses frozen mixed vegetables in fajitas??? Also, the pico de gallo looked stale… The tomatoes had a bit of a crust on it, so you can tell it was sitting out for a while. And there was no cheese, which is a first for any fajita I ordered anywhere. I also had to ask for tortillas, as they did not bring it with my meal. When I did get it, the corn tortillas were soft and tasty.

I suspect the rice might have chicken broth in it, not sure.

I was told the chicken dish was decent. Not out of this world, but ok.

This restaurant has potential and can be an amazing gem , but management needs to make some improvements. For a place that’s not busy, I expect much better service. And if I ask for a vegetarian meal, I expect no meat products and fresh food.

Sofia waited on us and it was phenomenal. The food was professionally prepared and hot upon arrival to our table. The white cheese dip was the best queso that we have ever had in the orlando.Area, the taco salad was also great. And so was the enchiladas with the bandera sauce. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves mexican food.

Cant miss here. The Wet Carne Asada was very good, it had great flavor, and adding some of their spicy salsa is a sure winner, if you like a little spice. The soft chicken tacos are good as well. Rice was light and fluffy and seasoned lightly. The side beans were a great compliment to the meal. The chairs are too high for the tables making it a bit uncomfortable to eat. The lighting is a bit too dark.

The food was very authentic and although we had just two lunch specials which were truly very reasonable priced, we will go back to try more of their menu.
We tried the Magarotas that were delicious. A little pricey but authentic and delicious.
We got fresh hot free salsa and chips with our lunch also.
The restaurant is very dark though. The lighting has painted art on the light covers which adds to the poor lighting. The furniture is dark also so I would recommend making it a little brighter as the menus were a little difficult to read.
I am looking forward to my next visit to sample other items on the menu.

We arrived at 6:59 PM and waited over 8 minutes just to be acknowledged. Eventually, someone from the kitchen came out to seat us — which was already a red flag. As of 7:41 PM, we still hadn’t been approached by a server. When I politely asked someone for water, I was told “it will be a while.” This level of service is unacceptable, and the lack of communication or urgency was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, this experience has left a very poor impression. The place only had two tables.

I ordered take out through Uber Eats since it was only about 3 miles from my house. The food arrived warm. I ordered the beef enchiladas, birria tacos, and the three taco platter. The enchiladas barely had beef, the beef in the birria tacos was bland but the consume was flavorful, and the carne asada tacos were dry. For the price I was a little disappointed but I’m hopeful a dine in experience might be a little better ‍♀️

Had the taco de Biria, delicious. Soft shredded meat with cheese, loved the meat sauce. Inherently a very greasy dish, so be prepared for that, but it was delicious. Flautas dish had a good crunch, but the chicken lacked a little flavor. Great with the biria sauce. The restaurant’s atmosphere is quaint, and I love the decorations. I later ordered tacos. They were delicious, only the drawback is that they come in one meat style only, either all chicken or carnitas, etc, for all three in an order. I like variety. Will definitely be back.

The food was delicious, but the decor, cleanliness, and ambience really made me decide this place will be a go-to.

Nicely decorated Mexican restaurant. It’s bigger inside than it looks. We came in for lunch on Friday afternoon. There were few people, so we were seated right away and served promptly. I tried Chicken Flautas for the first time. It seemed fresh and I enjoyed it. Service was good. I’ll come back again to try something else.
