I have been to Lola’s several times and I am never disappointed! It feels like visiting family. The staff are prompt and kind. Its a great atmosphere to bring your entire family. Id highlight one meal but they’re all great!! So happy to have this establishment close to home!

If you’re looking for Americanized Mexican food, there are plenty of options nearby, but this spot serves up authentic flavors with just a hint of American influence, and it absolutely works.
We ordered Al-Pastor gringas, tacos, and chicken tenders for the little one. Everything was delicious. The chorizo taco was my favorite, and the gringas were fantastic; loaded with grilled pineapple. Surprisingly, the chicken tenders were excellent too.
Our waitress recommended the corn flan for dessert, and it was the perfect way to end the meal. This place is definitely our new go-to for Mexican food.

We waited months to eat here while we waited to move in to our house. We passed it regularly and had to wait for both of our kids to be with us to go. Boy was it worth the wait! The food was amazing. The margarita was so delicious I kept turning the decanter upside down to get the last drop. My husband gets heartburn very easily but the ingredients were so fresh he had no issue. All 5 of us had a different entree and everyone raved about what they ate. We tried 3 desserts to include one the ladies just created and they were all delicious! The plating was creative and the decor is fun! You have to visit this restaurant and meet the wonderful owners!

If I could give this place ten stars, we would. My family is from Columbus and we found this quaint little place on tiktok. We have now been here twice. We had the pleasure of meeting, Lola herself and hearing her wonderful story. Everything is made fresh and ypu can definitely tell it is. everything is absolutely delicious highly recommend. From the drinks to the food and desserts. I just can’t say enough on how delicious the food is and how friendly the staff are. And the atmosphere here is wonderful. We will definitely be back many times.

Don’t walk, run. These guys have the best food in the area. I’m not exaggerating! My fiance and I love eating here. The kids love it. They are always kind, the outdoor seating is great and the food is DELICIOUS! This is not regular tacos and guac. This place offers a punch of flavor! See you there.

We have wanted to visit this place for a while. It was me, my husband and our 2 year old. The food was delicious and it came out very quickly. We ordered 2 top shelf margaritas and they were strong and very good. The staff was so friendly and very attentive. The only negative was our table because it was so wobbly and we nearly spilled our drinks twice. Also the queso was too expensive for such a small amount and there was this random $5 charge on our bill. other than that is was a good experience.

Loved the place! I had a soup and sopes but it was a mistake to order this much. The portions are big. They were kind enough to give me a to go box so now I have dinner and lunch the next day. Love the atmosphere and food.

This was our first time in and OMG!! First the atmosphere is great. It’s inviting, and while yes, it’s a restaurant, it feels quaint… almost homey. The staff are amazing and a hoot! They bring it to life… They care about the customer and the quality of food, and I felt treated it like an experience, not just having lunch. For example, I was facing away from the bar, but I was turned around in my seat as the show on that TV was more interesting (It was American Ninja Warrior) the guy (don’t know ow his name) changed the channel making it easier to watch from my seat…without asking. I was impressed. Now for the reason going the food. It was fresh and delicious. The care taken in preparation, and delivery to our table was obvious. The humor was there tooo..the almost “trip” and fall with the food just added to the experience. We were treated to an amazing beverage…pineapple Fresca! It was delicious. A side note I had the Gringas and the portions are huge…delicious was an understatement. The Mexican Street corn dip was delicious. Donyourself a favor and stop in at Lola’s for awesome food with helping of humor.

This place is excellent. It’s the best Mexican restaurant in Mount Vernon and definitely worth a stop even if you are passing through! Friendly owners, beautiful presentation, fresh ingredients, and delicious tacos. Full bar! I will be back, repeatedly!!
