I really like the atmosphere and feel of this place. Most of the food I’ve tried, I’ve enjoyed. I like how you order and pay first and they bring food out to you.
Not really an atmosphere/ menu for kids, but nice for meeting adults to be able to talk and not have a server stopping by a lot. It has a nice relaxed atmosphere.
Others use it to get a coffee with friends or to get coffee alone and get work done on a lap top.

From the moment you walk in, you are immersed in the rich local history and warm, welcoming atmosphere. The service is absolutely top notch; the staff is attentive, quick, and makes you feel right at home.
The food is fantastic, generous portions, and authentic flavors that taste like a home-cooked meal. I was also impressed by the historic gym and the beautiful murals that give the gym such a unique character. It is conveniently located right in the heart of the city, making it an easy stop. If you are looking for an authentic experience with great value for money, this is a must-visit place in Minnesota!

Stopped for lunch on our way through town. The chicken pot pie was amazing. Had the honey mustard chicken salad, coffee and pineapple lemonade as well. You ordered at the counter and they bring it to where you choose to sit.

Great place to have brunch with family. Sorrowfully for overnight shift workers that want a late breakfast won’t work. Breakfast is served until 10:30am

Cool place with a great atmosphere, and the service was solid. Unfortunately, the food was hit or miss for us.
My burger was pretty underwhelming — the bun was dry and the patty didn’t have much flavor. The spaghetti had a strong earthy taste that didn’t seem right. The flatbread pizza felt more like half a regular pizza than a full flatbread.
On the positive side, the mac and cheese was good and one person in our group really enjoyed it. Overall, we liked the vibe, but the food didn’t quite live up to it.

As a coffee drinker, I was looking for a place to get GOOD, FRESH COFFEE when I was recently in the New Ulm, MN area. I’m an Americano drinker and appreciate quality products. I tried Lola the first morning and was impressed. They have a two head commercial espresso machine there that pumped out a great, piping hot 20 ounce, 4 shot Americano. They ground the beans fresh and mentioned they get the beans from a coffee supplier in St Paul. So, instead of trying other options in town the next day, I went back the next 3 mornings. Why change something that works? They have lots of food options as well that looked very good, but I’m not a breakfast person. The atmosphere was quaint with exposed brick and high ceilings. The fireplace was a welcome touch on the cold winter mornings. I’ll definitely be going back the next time I’m in town.

Lola is a must-stop for residents and visitors alike. This restaurant serves locally sourced farm-to-table food with delicious twists. And bonus: they also offer catering! Aron, the owner/operator, is kind and personable and is clearly devoted to his craft and the community.
Great for breakfast or lunch, with delicious unique specials. If you go before 10:30am, get the rosemary biscuits and gravy …. You won’t regret it.
Don’t miss this local option!

Ordered the hot mess as an appetizer. It’s advertised “rosemary garlic fries, smoked gouda, shredded roast beef, gravy, house cheese sauce, green onion” sounds good. But It is like water grease and rosemary drenching, fries and roast beef was cold and tasteless. I couldn’t I couldn’t eat it would not recommend. And had the for cheese steak sandwich. 3 chunks of the meat was nothing but cartilage. I’m okay if there’s like 1 or2. And I don’t write reviews, that’s how bad this was.

The setup here was a little confusing. You seat yourself, review the menu, then have to go up to the counter to place your order, and they deliver the food to the table. It felt like a mix between full-service and fast-casual, which made the experience a bit disjointed.
The food was the greatest, it didn’t taste especially fresh. The flavors had a different flare than expected, and overall it just didn’t feel as fresh as I’d hoped.
It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t somewhere I’d rush back to either.
