We were so pleased to find this place, and I’ll plan to come back regularly when I come back to town. The atmosphere was pleasant, with no wait at 12:30 on a Friday. The staff all seemed professional, greeting us immediately and seating us quickly. Our waiter was very attentive, never letting us finish a drink before he brought refills. And the food! The quality far exceeded the price, because the quantity was not lacking and because the food really was great. The portions per price were more than adequate (especially the appetizers). The pizzas we ordered were very impressive, with a perfect crust and amazing flavors. We can’t wait to come back, and we say well done!

It’s been awhile since I’ve visited so I’m definitely glad I stopped by today! I tried the brunch menu and food was beyond delicious! I definitely recommend the brisket breakfast sandwich with hash browns very filling and flavorful! I always love how comfortable this place feels. My serve made sure I had everything I needed and more she was very attentive. I look forward to returning soon!

We went on a Saturday night and were told it would take a long time. They were short staffed and had a huge party outside. We decided to wait since we have been wanting to try this place. It was well worth the wait! The food was amazing, the service was slow obviously but the server was on it and kept checking on us and was very friendly and apologetic. I love that the oven and most of the cooking is done in the center of the building (behind a wall of course). We will definitely be back but maybe on a different day of the week this time.

Today we decided to have brunch being were new to the area and I must say Upper Crust was the perfect choice for our first brunch experience in Columbia! Our server Sanders was very nice and accommodating! He made great recommendations and we explored them all! Food was delicious and service was great!! Definitely recommend.

The waiter Haden was the only good part. My brisket was awful and dry. The communication was not good either. We tried to get info to rent the patio and never got a reply. Our party was split and told we must all arrive together in order to be seated, that would be fine if we hadn’t seen other parties seated without the same rules as other people joined their table later. The menu was lacking quite a bit. I would not recommend the place to anyone ever. The food definitely looks better than it was.

1st time at this restaurant and it was VERY good! I had a new item on the menu…pepperoni rolls and the bread was sooo soft and tasty. It was served with marinara sauce and delicious!! Just enough pepperoni and cheese!!! Then I had the Late Bloomers Special with caesar salad, Alfredo w/chicken and cheesecake for dessert. I couldn’t even eat the Alfredo, due to the pepperoni rolls being so filling! My husband had the house salad and Italian dreams quesadilla. Forgot to get a pic of that! Our server Sharone was also great! We’ll definitely be back!!!

Came went with my friend and her mom. We were all starving and my friend had been here when it was under the prior management. We order pizzas – pepperoni, cheese with spinach and shrimp, and meat lovers. We all thought our pizza was subpar. My friend said her pizzas in the past were different, not sure if they changed the ingredients. Initially I ordered an app of lemon pepper wings. Apparently today the first new day with this new mini menu. I asked if the wings were wet or dry but the serve didn’t know. He was nice but seemed very insecure. My friends mom also ordered the deviled eggs. He came back some minutes later to let us know that the wings we ordered in lemon pepper weren’t available. This was disappointing because how is this your first day under a new menu and you don’t even have the listed items . I wasn’t a fan of the other wing options so I opted for nachos. I didn’t consider that now my pizza would come out before my nacho appetizer, which it did. My pizza was just okay, the shrimp weren’t seasoned at all, the flavor was just really lacking and I didn’t care for the taste of the dough. My nachos came out and they were HUGE, I mean massive. I wish the gentleman would have told me how much came on there. I wouldn’t hsve gotten it. The nachos were literally not worth paying for but I kept them. The taste was just lacking. Less cheese and more salsa. Well had them boxed up as I was half way through my pizza and in no world would I have eaten all of that. The wine was cool but ultimately I wouldn’t come back again.

Waited 45 minutes to be seated, but the wait was well worth it! Everyone in my party shared an ample bowl of cheesy, crispy, bacon-topped tots while we drank a mimosa flight! The service was excellent and all of the food was amazing

It has been a while since I’ve dined at Upper Crust. The shrimp and grits topped everything on the menu and even reheated well as I brought the leftovers home. Please offer the shrimp and grits as well as other grits entrees weekly. I dined here for Mother’s Day and stood in line waiting for the restaurant to open at 9. We were quickly seated once the doors opened. While seated, I saw many customers receiving their meal, however, no one approached our table for drink orders, so we asked about a waitress. The waitress apologized for not knowing someone was seated in her area–20+ minutes later. Overall, the meal tasted exquisite and reflected on our check–$115 for a family of 4. For brunch, be prepared to spend an average of $15-$18/entree & $4 for sides. I do suggest developing an organized system for dispersing food to the tables. We received the sides before the entrees. By the time I received my grits, the rest of my family was nearly done eating.
