We went to Logans in East Peoria for Mother’s Day. We walked right into a booth seating. From there, it went to oh boy really quick. For the first time, the service was a little shaky. We got there at shift change, no problem, right? Wrong. As we waited, three other families came in about ten minutes afterward, but they had a server bring them hot rolls and drinks. Oh boy, we got a problem now. I had to go back to the front area and ask for a server and buns. Because of the shift change, we were left without a server. The server that was assigned to our table also had other tables on the other end of the restaurant. The food should have been a five-star, but it wasn’t. It was my go-to salmon with spinach sauce for a topping. The only thing that was the warmest was either the mashed potatoes under the salmon or my temper for the meal that was partially cold. The shrimp was cold but spicy. The supposed to be steamed broccoli was also cold. The salmon was flaky, the way it should have been, but it wasn’t either warm or hot. We all have bad days, but this went from bad to oh boy, really fast. I guess I enjoyed leaving more than I enjoyed the food. I guess we’ll try a different restaurant soon. Logan’s restaurant dropped the ball on this one.

They say you get what you pay for. Well, If you’re craving cold French fries, a handsome trio of over cooked burgers, weak ice tea, for the measley sum of $12.00. I’m just going to chalk this up as a bad day At Logans. They can’t possibly be this bad everyday. Or can they?

I love this place! Great value comes from respectable prices and large portion sizes. Good variety of entrees. I’ve never been able to finish my meal, so leftovers for a meal the next day is a bonus. The wait time to be seated was very quick. Pleasant servers and nice clean place makes for a enjoyable experience

Usually get really decent food here, even when ordering through delivery services. Tonight it took an hour for them to prepare my meal (the time it took for it to be ready for the delivery driver to grab the order, not the delivery time). I see now why it took so long since you burnt my shrimp to a crisp. So disappointed.

Went to Logan’s in East Peoria Monday looking for burgers for wife and me. We were promptly told they were out of hamburger. Really weird a steakhouse would be out of burger. Our second choice was chicken fried steak but were told they were out of white gravy and green beans. Seriously?! This would be a good place to start a restaurant. We settled for an order of mushrooms.

I was taken out to dinner at Logan’s Roadhouse for my birthday. We had to wait for 30 minutes before being seated. It was because of the shortage of staff. Really, no one’s fault. Our waitress did all she could to be sure we were taken care of. It was worth the wait. The food was delicious.

The server was friendly, polite, and did her best to attend all my needs, despite the fact how busy they were. I had a steak that was an excellent cut of meat, tender juicy and everything it was advertised to be. I was very pleased with my experience at this restaurant. The only thing I would caution is don’t expect to be in and out like a fast food restaurant, as the servers are very busy and the restaurant appears to become very busy in the evening, which with the quality of the food, and the pleasant atmosphere, I can see why. If I come to Peoria again I will definitely visit this restaurant again.

Good food sometimes… staff are friendly but it really is a hit or miss if the food is going to be good or not… UPDATE… Went yesterday for my mother’s Day dinner since I had to work today me my spouse and two of our kids went to dinner… O get it was busy but the whole trip was ridiculous… Half our food was missing… Most of it was cold… Mine was way over cooked ( I eat med rare steak ) mine was DONE… My waitress who was new and told us she was still in training was by herself… I am not knocking her she did her absolute best… But for $100+ I am MASSIVELY disappointed

Service was excellent! Food on the other hand was not up to par. Well not all the food. The appetizers were good, mushrooms, potato skins, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, all very tasty. The steaks are where the ball was dropped. 4 out of the 5 steaks ordered had to be sent back because of being over cooked. Also the steamed broccoli was definitely not steamed and what came back was boiled to death. Everyone was specific on what was wanted but that wasn’t what came out. Our server was very nice and he earned his tips! I would recommend again, if for nothing else the service, atmosphere and appetizers…just make sure you check your steak before the server leaves the table.
