Logan’s Bar & Grill became a familiar stop over multiple visits during my stay at Grouse Mountain Lodge, including the launch of their new Sunday brunch service. Each visit reinforced the same takeaway: this is a place that understands its setting and leans into it with warmth and consistency.

From the moment you walk in, the hospitality feels distinctly mountain-lodge friendly, relaxed, welcoming, and genuine. Service across the board was thoughtful and attentive without ever hovering.

The food sticks to an unpretentious playbook, serving generous portions that focus on satisfaction rather than show. Everything I tried arrived hearty and well executed, the kind of fare that fuels a full day outdoors.

Brunch deserves special mention. The build-your-own Bloody Mary bar is a fun addition, and I admittedly made a few very convincing returns. The breakfast offerings that anchor the brunch menu are solid and well rounded, providing plenty of substance to keep you going well past noon. A friend joined us for brunch with her child, it was refreshing to see kids’ options that were clearly planned with intention rather than tacked on as an afterthought.

The space itself adds to the appeal, with comfortable indoor dining, a full bar, a gorgeous private dining room, and an outdoor lounge complete with a firepit. On Sundays, large flat screen TVs roll out during brunch, making it easy to enjoy a meal without missing your NFL team.

Logan’s Bar & Grill isn’t trying to impress through flash. It succeeds through consistency, comfort, and honest hospitality. If you’re looking for a relaxed, family-friendly spot with generous food and an easygoing vibe in the Whitefish area, Logan’s delivers.

The cutest lodge for brunch! The staff right from the entrance to the front desk, the hostess, and the restaurant staff were all so sweet and welcoming. The food was on point! There is a bloody Mary bar and the brunch menu has a good variety of things. Everything we got was delicious! Will return for sure! And the had Willy’s salted caramel to go with our morning coffee!! Everyone Montana restaurant that serves coffee should be required to carry Willy’s. Lol.

Food was what I would expect from a cheap diner. I have had local bar food with more flavor. The croutons in the french onion soup were so stale that after soaking for over 10 minutes, they still were hard as a rock. It was not even edible. The vegetables with the 45 dollar steak we literally 3 slivers of carrots and 5 slivers if green. When i say sliver, i mean the size of a toothpick. The service was horrible. The staff was pleasant, but had absolutely no clue what they were doing. We sat for over 20 minutes in a half full restaurant after our main course was completed waiting for desert or a check. We finally had to stack our plates on the edge of the table.to get someone’s attention. For the price, I was absolutely appalled. I do not blame the staff, I blame management. The manager was more worried about prancing around like a diva than leading her staff. We do not recommend and will never return.

We have had great experience here, The service was great, the staffs were so nice and the food most amazing and delicious we sat inside and closed to fireplace because the outside around bit cold weather enjoyed the food and the atmosphere was cozy, I love ❤️ it so we think we will visit and be back to eat soon.

We had such an amazing experience with every part. The food was top notch and service even better. Our waitress, Ash, was such a blessing. She was friendly and doting. If we lived close, we would be there often! Thanks for a great experience!

This review is for the restaurant.
The three times we went there within the last year, food was absolutely delicious. The bartender told us that they had a traveling chef, who is not there anymore. A couples days ago our experience with the new chef was very subpar. My meal came out cold, not even luke warm. I’m not much of a complainer at all, but when you pay top dollars for a meal, it should be at least hot. So they redid it. Taste was nothing to write home about.
My husbands “smoked” pork chop was just awful. The smoky (not natural I suppose) flavor ruined the dinner. The French onion soup, which was one of our favorites before, was very sour tasting. So all in all a bad experience regarding the taste of the food. The waitress was very nice and attentive. Not going back there for sure as long as that chef is there.

Thanksgiving. I would give it 5 stars but they served a burnt pie and wouldn’t let us take our scaps to the dog so we took our plates to the room. ✨️

We had a great meal here. Servers were all very friendly. We were not staying at the lodge but booked dinner based on reviews. Brussels sprouts are amazing – definitely put those on the list. Charcuterie board was filling – way more than two people can handle. I had the chicken and my wife had the fish. We had cheesecake for dessert. We ate in the outdoor area and brought our dog.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Sarah! She went above and beyond to take care of not only our bail agents but our entire conference group from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, her professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine warmth set the tone for an unforgettable experience.

Sarah crafted each drink with skill, care, and an obvious passion for what she does. Every cocktail was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and delivered with a smile. Whether it was a classic or a custom request, Sarah made sure every guest felt special and taken care of.

As a hospitality professional and bartender, Sarah is truly in a league of her own. Her ability to manage a large group with such grace and efficiency speaks volumes about her experience and dedication. It was clear to all of us that she doesn’t just serve drinks—she creates an atmosphere of comfort, connection, and quality.

If you’re looking for an exceptional bartender or event professional for your next conference, private party, or corporate event—Sarah is the one to call. We highly recommend her and look forward to working with her again in the future. Thank you, Sarah, for making our event not just successful—but memorable.

Smash burger, French dip, salmon curry, elk/bison burger, salad, and a few desserts were all pretty good. Plus tried all the local whiskeys and a few local beers.
