We went to Mountain Harbor for a special Reservations only Valentines dinner. It was FABULOUS! I loved everything! The Beef Wellington was perfectly cooked and seasoned! The Carbonara was delicious! The mushroom soup was the best I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Everyone loved their dessert. Bailey and Kayleigh(sp) could not have done a better job. Of course- you know me – I am from Maryland and want a jumbo lump Crabcake, but yours was very tasty. I wouldn’t turn my nose up at it! Even the salad dressing was wonderful! Only disappointment was that no one at our table ordered the Berumundi! I wanted to at least taste it!!! Thank you!!!!

Excellent restaurant!
The waitress was great and funny!
The food was hot and fresh.
I quizzed the waitress about the onion rings,
She told me they were hand dipped.
They were everything she said they were.

Our waitress seemed to be pretty irritated this morning. We were celebrating a big occasion and it was a bit disappointment. I also asked for strawberries and they served with onions and the egg yolk all over them. They also were extremely mushy. I asked about their scones and they buy them just from a grocery store not even made fresh. This was not worth what they were charging. I am pretty upset and will not return to this location. The staff need to be more kind if you’re unhappy at your job find a different one.

The food quality has gone downhill badly over summer and fall. Not sure what happened. We were starting to drive here some because food was getting better. Sandwich meats are just awful; I didn’t even finish my sandwich. Not worth drive anymore. People are nice tho. Hopefully they’ll get better quality food again.

Over $21 for a cafeteria or hospital quality sandwich and bad limp under cooked fries. For that price, I’d expect a decent serving size and a little effort actually put in making it. The people at the front desk were great! The meal really disappointing, worth only maybe $12. See pics, judge

On the way back from Mount Magazine to Dallas we decided to stop in here for lunch. It wasn’t what we were expecting, but still turned out great. It’s small and it was very crowded but were able to be seated quickly. The food was good and we loved the wam brownie and ice cream for dessert!

We had several meals here over the weekend during the morning brunch service. We enjoyed everything we tried. Portions were large and prices were reasonable for the quality of the dishes. I ate the crab cake eggs benedict and the cakes were HUGE. I couldn’t finish it all, but wish I could have. My group ate several burgers and they complimented that they were all cooked to order. The onion rings were enormous, too. I went back the next day and ate the French dip sandwich with homemade chips. Yall, that was the best one I’ve ever had. I had to post a review just to make sure folks knew to try that dang sandwich. I ate every bite and I think I might explode…but no regrets. The staff were very kind, too. They let me hang out at my table for a few hours while my son was taking his diving certification there. I recommend it if you’re in the area. It’s a nice laid-back environment, good food, and a nice view of the lake. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back if I’m in the area again.

Have been here many times food is good and consistent, staff has almost always been nice but tonight they are playing news on the TV which just ruins the vibe. I don’t care if it is Fox, CNN, or regular nightly news. If you have to keep a TV on please keep it neutral & upbeat…like weather channel or the like.

We went here for brunch after hearing from friends that the restaurant here was good. It is not. We were seated quickly and there were only two other tables of guests. It took a full 5 minutes for someone to ask us if what we’d like to drink (I had coffee and had to ask the waitress later for creamer and a spoon after the busser dumped and ran). Our waitress finally showed up to take our food order. It took some time for it to arrive-strange, as the place was relatively empty.
My wife had scones, which she said were ok but not great, and had asked for cream and was brought a big can of whipped cream, which was odd. I had homefries (tiny portion) on my plate which were undercooked and raw. After delivery of our food, no one came to check if we needed anything else or refills. I had to get the hotel front desk check in person (which was weird in itself being in the restaurant) to get our waitress and to request a do-over on the home fries. The waitress finally shows up and we request refills. Once we’d finished it took another 10+ minutes to get the check. I’m adding these details to, hopefully, relay a feel of the constant waiting for anyone to notice us. Not once did anyone come and ask if we needed anything or if everything was ok.
The food was mediocre, coffee was good. I would have expected a brunch place (that really has only a partial view of the lake) to be pretty busy on a weekend day, but it wasn’t at all-probably because people know how bad the service is.
We were hoping this would be a good experience and be somewhere on the lake we’d like to re-visit and stay at sometime. We will definitely not be returning. Extremely disappointed.
