The Lodge is a family-friendly bar & grill, located off of Orchard Lake Rd. We welcome all, and show support for our “Up Northers”, as well as our sports fans! From our Jumbo Screens showing the Big Detroit Redwings Game, to our Wooden-Carved Bear Statue that sits at our entrance, we are the Restaurant for the “Michigander”. The original Lodge Grill & Bar was opened in May of 1991 in Sylvan Lake, Michigan. In 2006, a new Lodge Grill & Bar was built in Keego Harbor, Michigan. Today, we continue to provide a fun atmosphere with a come as you are attitude. From our mouth watering BBQ Ribs to our Award Winning Fish and Chips, our food has earned us a loyal following in Metro Detroit. Our Motto: “Great Food, Great Fun & Great Service.

The Lodge is a pretty cool place, there’s a bunch of TVs to watch sports. Wide open area with a big bar. Huge menu!
We got the 12 wings mixed with Parmesan and Cajun, which was recommended by the server. Very good! We also got the Lodge Sticks, which are not really sticks, but a flat 8” cheese pizza! It’s just basically a cheese pizza with dipping sauce. It was very good though!!

My husband and I both ordered the Ribeye steak which is $35 for a 12oz steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Mine came out with a size of fat hanging by a string (still attached so I’m assuming part of the12oz mentioned on the menu) which was a 1/3 of the entire size of the steak and is my dinner. I am not picky and understand fat on steak but then there was so much more along the side and and in the middle, I barely ate. The mashed potatoes were super salty and I love salt. Broccoli was underwhelming. This meal was not at all worth what the price is. Lastly, my drinks were $10 each for normal size citrus vodka and soda which is very over priced. I have been a bartender and server for many years in my past life so I understand alcohol prices, this is gouging. The bartender took $25 off the bill and bought one of my drinks which is nice and appreciated but we will never go back. The Lodge used to have much better food and drinks for the price point. I had to stop at Ginos restaurant on the way to home get actual dinner and spent more money than we should have, lesson learned.

Our waiter was rude and inattentive. He came over once to check on us after 15-20 minutes. Then he brings the bill over, drops it on the table and walks away without saying a word. We were going to get dessert! But we decided not to bother. We think he was annoyed that we weren’t drinking. Not sure what it was, but it was obvious right the start that he was not happy waiting on us. The food was delicious, but the service was terrible. We won’t bother to come back again.

Went in for the first time last night with my roomate . Super friendly and prompt all around service . The food was awesome service was outstanding. I forgot my Togo and my sever actually ran out after me to me give it to me . Mind you it was like -2 . Talk about excellent customer service and overall experience. Will be back soon and will recommend forsure .

My friend loved the Maurice salad. The chili is good. I jave found that the food isn’t as good lately and inconsistent. For example, my fries were cold, but my companions were hot. My fish and chips, were are usually good, were just ok. The coleslaw was drenched in the sauce. The nachos are fair at best. The salmon is usually good. Service was very good and our server was personable.

Very nice sports atmosphere with delicious food. My wagyu burger was overcooked and had to be sent back, but the waitress was sweet about it and brought us a cookie for the mistake. The wings were delicious. Overall, the food and service was good for a Wednesday lunch date.

Great waiter name Susie!!! Steak bites were delicious. Chicken fritters with Buffalo sauce was amazing. The fish sandwich was a big portion and flavorful!! The Modelo was fresh and COLD!!!

5 stars for our first time experience! There was a 25 minute wait on Kentucky Derby Saturday, but immediate service if we sat at the bar which was perfectly fine for our party of 3. Mark who worked behind the bar was very friendly. Right away I noticed there were TVs everywhere showing several games and the derby! There was 30 beers on tap also one domestic of the month and one craft selection! We ordered the Lodge Burger, Fettuccine Alfredo a Cesar and Michigan cherry salad. We also got mozzarella cheese sticks and Italian wedding soup. The food was served very quickly and tasted fresh and delicious!!! I can’t wait to go back!!! Mark you rock!!! Great time! Great food! Great service!!!

This place has become my first favorite bar & grill to go to! I normally don’t go out much, but I wanted to try something new when meeting up with my sister for lunch. The place is so nice and has a pleasant vibe! Our waitress, Jazzy M (on the reciept) was so nice and patient with us when we had no clue what to get. She was even able to ask the kitchen staff if we could have both chicken AND beef on our nachos!
This is the first time I went somewhere and went “which one do I pick to eat? That all sound so good!” The cocktails were so dangerously GOOD! We got the Amarillo Lemonade and my boyfriend got the North Woods Rum Punch (that I MIGHT have tried lol). We got the mozzarella sticks and shareable nachos, which were too good to explain. I got the lodge crispy chicken sandwich, the boyfriend got the cajun chicken sandwich, and my sister couldn’t choose between the half rack of ribs or the build your own burger so she got both. She also got chicken noodle soup and the turkey chilli.
My LORD there was so much food and I am beyond excited to eat these leftovers! The burger and chicken were juicy, the fries and nacho chips were crispy, the drinks were refilled almost instantly. This was such an awesome experience, thank you so much Jazzy!

The Monte Cristo Sandwich is pretty good. My recommendation would be to have actual raspberry preserves as opposed to “raspberry sauce”.
The Fish and Chips is what they are known for, and with good reason. Wash it down with a nice Soft Parade from Short’s.
