Ordered at the restaurant for carry out. Waited over 20 minutes for the food. It was lunch time and not particularly busy. Recommend ordering online. Ordered kalbi ribs with rice and mac salad. The kalbi was cooked perfectly and flavorful. The rice was not cooked well, it was steamed with too much water and had the consistency of rice pudding. The mac salad was very disappointing. Not worth the upcharge. No flavor, noodles over cooked.

The food and drink was frankly amazing. I would have zero problems making the 3 hour round trip just to try something else on the menu. If you are reading reviews just stop and go. You will absolutely not be disappointed!

First time here, definitely not the last! Very cute place, neat and clean. Counter service was friendly and informative about their menu.
We had Katsu Curry (panko breaded chicken with green curry), BBQ Certified Angus Beef, Spicy (island style teriyaki), Shrimp (coconut battered shrimp with Thai peanut sauce), and Pulled Pork (smoked). For sides we got the Noodles and Brown Rice.
Everything was REALLY amazing! Beef was perfectly charred and tender, Pork was incredibly moist with a good amount of smoke to it, Shrimp were soft and flavourful, Chicken was moist inside with a perfectly crisp breading.
Loved all the sauces served on the side, especially the Spicy Teriyaki and the Peanut Sauce.
Rice was perfectly sticky and nutty and the Noodles were absolutely delicious!
Large portions, we took over half home.
They don’t serve Beer or Wine, but have a soda fountain and canned juices available.

This was my first time visiting, but the food was super yummy. I haven’t had authentic Hawaiian cuisine in years, but what I received was absolutely fantastic and reminded me of some of the dishes that my mom made before she passed away. Thank you for that and the memories

The spicy teriyaki angus beef I had was amazingly tasty. The meat was tender and spicy. RICE is the best. It’s the high quality rice. The staff and the owner are generous and friendly.
