My friends and I stopped in for dinner before a show the other night. The environment, decorations, and music made the whole time very stimulating and enjoyable. I ordered a Baja fish taco and a BBQ chicken quesadilla, and both were mouthwatering! One friend got a free different tacos, and said they were delicious. My other friend got the sizzling fajitas and said they were some of the best he’s ever had! We also ordered the queso, and the only problem with that was not enough cheese for all the tasty chips. Our server was very attentive and helpful throughout dinner. Lastly, the murals on the walls are so beautiful! I think there may have been an event going on or something, and one of the restaurant workers brought us all Espolon tequila tank tops, as well as tequila shots – all before we started eating. All in all, I’d rate our experience an 8/10 and look forward to returning.

By far the worst service I’ve experienced—there is absolutely no excuse for it.

We arrived in the early evening to an empty restaurant. Plenty of empty seat all over. Despite standing at the host stand, both hosts completely ignored us, choosing instead to continue their personal conversation. When we were finally acknowledged, the only question asked—without greeting or courtesy—was whether we had a reservation. Given how empty the restaurant was, it was almost laughable.

We were seated in the least desirable area, and when we politely asked if there were other seating options available, the host bluntly said “no” and walked away without making eye contact or offering any explanation. The level of arrogance and disregard was astonishing.

When I eventually spoke with the manager on duty—who, to his credit, was respectful—his response was that he wouldn’t address the issue immediately because the host might “walk out,” but that he would handle it later. That response alone speaks volumes. First impressions matter, and the behavior of the hosts reflects a management culture where professionalism and accountability are already strained, to the point that management seems hesitant to intervene for fear of staff walking out

As for the experience beyond that, the drinks were mediocre at best. A $14 margarita served in a very small glass is hardly impressive. For a party of two to spend over $100 on an experience this poor is unacceptable and absolutely not worth it.
Save your time and money.

Yard House is right down the street and delivers exceptional service consistently. I will not be returning, and I strongly recommend others do the same.

Really fantastic food! Accidentally visited during what seemed to be a christmas bar crawl, but that didn’t impact the quick service or delicious food! Located conveniently across from Fenway Park, Loco has something delicious for everyone. Clean bathrooms, too!

It’s nice that you can order tacos individually. Drinks were not good. Womp. Carne Asada taco (not pictured) had great flavor.

This place is terrible. It is expensive and terrible. You’re almost glad that the portions are comically small. The sodas were watered down and the service was slow, even though we were one of only 3 occupied tables. There were nearly a dozen employees who were all much more interested in each other than in the patrons. But even if service had been on point, the food was bland and wildly overpriced. We ordered the churros because we were hell bent to finishing on a high note and how do you mess up churros? They were pretty tasty but the menu said it was an order of 8 and we were only given 7. So that’s how you mess up churros.

There is much better food to be had in Boston. Avoid this place at all costs.

Wow, the atmosphere and ambience, 10/5. So awesome inside and it gets very, very busy in the evening. Would recommend making a reservation ahead of time. Great selection of Mexican food and drinks. The magarita was really good. Little Devil is very spicy. The bucket of fries, hot and crunchy, very delicious. Coconut shrimp taco was bit dry and didn’t taste like coconut. Taco was too thick for me. Short Rib Empanada and Pineapple guacamole were very good and we ended up getting another set. I like how they serve them just cooked/prepared – things felt hot and fresh. Didn’t really like the Christmas special drinks. Baby Grinch tasted weird (a little like strange grape) and Candy Cane tasted like melted toothpaste. Desserts were amazing. The group/host ordered it for me so I don’t what exactly was ordered but it was hot chocolate cookie/cake served with cold ice cream and then raspberry cake of some sort. It was very good. The nachos were (as always) great as a shareable. The servers were very busy and were very prompt at getting us moving for the next reservation, which was fair. They were friendly and took great photos. I gave 4/5 for service only because things got really busy – which speaks to how popular and successful this place is – not that anyone was mean. Had a fantastic time to celebrate my Birthday with cherished friends and colleagues. Thank you for the awesome memories. What a gift . Would come here again.

The interior decorations of this restaurant provide a fun and welcoming atmosphere. I came here during the holidays, so all of the decorations were fun to look at. However, the food failed to match the same standard. We purchased 4 oysters ($12), the queso ($16), one Baja fish taco ($6), one tinga verde taco ($6), and the classic steak burrito ($18). Considering the substantial cost of the food items, we expected the flavor and portion sizes to equate to their worth; and they did not. The burrito contained very minimal amounts of steak (tiny pieces, too), the queso was very thick in consistency and there was barely enough queso to finish the chips that came with it, the tacos were lackluster when it came to flavor, and the texture/thickness of the tortilla was bland and doughy. I even found a stick-type thing in my taco (picture provided).

In addition to the lack of flavor, the speed of the service was also subpar. I would have understood more if the restaurant was busy, but there were very few other tables occupied. We were not seen by a waiter for at least 10 minutes after getting seated. We ordered drinks that didn’t come to the table until after we were done eating. We asked for our drinks half-way through and were told they lost our order ticket.

Although the food and service was disappointing, we were very pleased with the oysters (very delicious!). The drinks we ordered were also very good (Candy Cane Lane & The Griswold Family Tree).

If I were to return, I would probably only come for just drinks and their $1 oyster special on Mondays.

The vibes were great, especially on a weekend night with the DJ set. Food and drinks were good.

Unfortunately, as many other reviews mention, this place has a serious issue with service. Bad or busy nights happen to everyone, and I rarely hold staff accountable for forgetting things here and there, but being outright rude to the table you’re serving is hard to forgive.

If they improve their service, this would easily be a 4/5-star place.

Food: everything came rather fast and the quesadilla and tacos were season pretty well. I did wish the Birria tacos had more onions on the side for the crunch. We also got chips and salsa and guac, which I preferred the salsa more even though it’s definitely more zesty. The guac was okay. It was just a bit bland so perhaps adding a bit more salt and lime would’ve helped the flavor come through more. I did enjoy the tortilla chips as it’s less store-bought style and it had a little bit of kick of flavor involved. I didn’t see that they served oysters here so maybe it’s for a certain time or that’s only in the other location perhaps. The drinks are served inconsistent bc I had the same cocktail on one day and then the next day I got it again, it tasted way too strong

Service: our server was fine. Everything came out rather quick and almost too quick. it felt like we needed to finish to rush out, even though it wasn’t as packed and I’m sure there’s plenty of other seats that people could sit while we’re here.

Ambiance: we were simply for the Christmas decorations, and it’s cute inside. The Christmas lights bring a lot of holiday too. And there’s actually lots of seatings once you get inside past the bar.

Location accommodation: it’s right by Fenway and there was ongoing construction so that can be a bit annoying to go through. There is a parking garage that’s by Lansdowne train station and a lot of side parking that goes around the park itself.

Jack….while I appreciate you acting shocked that the kitchen did not bring out the street corn, you said so sorry I’ll take it off. Well I sure hope so I never received it. Then after you said you took it off the bill, I handed you my card, even foolishly took a picture of my bill to later review it and find ya charged me for what I didn’t receive anyway. Foolish of me for signing the bill with it on there and walking away, but still. Watch what your doing, please!

Concert so loved the music they were playing to match. But because it was busy, very very slow service. We received dessert before my second drink ever came.

-Guac was super small
-Shrimp taco was bomb
-Churros being GF was cool
-Lots of GF options
-Large tequila collection
