We got there and we’re seated at a small table, clearly marked as a workstation near the front door and away from the other tables. There were other available tables, so I don’t understand why. Anyway, my wife ordered beef fajitas and she was served sauteed beef with a couple of slices of onion and pepper. She asked and was told that they were out of fajitas. My migas were run of the mill and my kid’s pancake was over cooked enough the pancake was difficult to cut.

First visit and it’s wonderful! Food is delicious, coffee is hot, service is great.
Elvira is a gem – while I was eating I noticed she was actually taking the time to help another elderly patron with his silverware to help him eat: what a sweet, caring thing to do.
My only criticism is that it is far too cold in the restaurant, and if it’s too cold for a customer in warm pajamas, it’s definitely too cold for employees in their work clothes.
Please consider getting the heater looked at, because it’s very sad to see such a sweet woman shivering while she works.

I’ve been here twice for breakfast, and it was great both times. The food was good, and the servers are very friendly. Looks like a place where the locals hang out. Next time I need to try their lunch menu

5 star small town, dive spot. Nothing fancy by any means but it’s exactly what you’d expect. French toast, eggs, and bacon just as good as you’d make at home but served up hot and fresh, plus no dishes for you to do and less than $11 before tip! Bar seating was not comfy, knees knock right into it because there’s no true ledge but I was eating alone and didn’t want to take up a table. Perfect for a quick bite of home style food as I passed through town. I would go again!

The Chimichanga was super small with no flavor and seamed to have a meat shortage. Mashed potatoes tasted like if they were dehydrated and I know for a fact that the Chicken Fried Steak was a frozen Patty the size of a hockey puck. Pancakes weren’t too bad. Best thing we had was a Pepsi. We were also reminded hat they were closing in a few minutes.
Dont recommend

We were highly recommended to this restaurant & it was worth it! We ordered floured tortilla taco’s which were very, very good! The tea was the bomb!! Sorry Mr Taco but this restaurant, their food & prices beat y’all hands down! This is going to be our new favorite place to eat out. Keep up the good work!

I got a breakfast plate, a barbacoa taco and a coffee. The eggs and bacon were the typical stuff cooked just right. The hash browns were cheap little grease pads, but a lot this patty style are, so I knew it was a possibility. The coffee and barbacoa were perfect! Wish the taco would have been thicker, as it was gone in like 3 bites. But, those were some delicious bites. I probably wouldn’t eat here again, only because of the price and quantity. After the average tip, this meal was about $20 total. For that, I like being full… maybe even have some leftovers. But, not with this, left hungry. The lady working was super nice, sorry forgot her name. I sat outside because inside seemed like a locals senior hangout. Which is cute (and maybe explains the pricing?) but outside was nice and quiet.

I’m not gonna lie I used to eat here all the time and would usually get the chicken fajita burrito and it would be huge for 9 dollars but now I get something this small for more than 11 dollars. I spent 14.50 total 2.50 for Mexican coke which is fine with me but 12 dollars for this? Come on shrinkflation is so real. I’m sorry but I’d hate to pay for something this small. I might as well buy myself the big flour tortillas at heb for 4 dollars and get the rest of myself. I’m disappointed but it is what it is

We came here on a Sunday morning around 9:30, my husband, myself and our two kids. It was kind of dead and we were hesitant but the reviews seemed okay so we stopped here.
It was nice and quiet inside which I appreciated because the kids are always a lot and sometimes loud TV’s or music can be overwhelming. The place was clean. Definitely felt local, kind of like a hole in the wall place. Not chain restaurant vibes.
Mia was our waitress. She was polite, attentive, and got everything we asked for right. We asked for an extra plate, extra creamer, extra butter and I substituted breakfast potatoes for my eggs and she nailed it.
They don’t have a kids menu but we split the pancake plate between our 2 and 5 year old and it was perfect. The portions were generate and the pricing was great. Most of the plates were between $8 and $11 but some were actually less than $8.
$40 total for 4 people is pretty good and we all got drinks too.
We will definitely make this a staple for our Sunday morning breakfast choices.
